O Parque by ARCIL — Restaurant in Lousã

The location of Parque by Acril is excellent, with a very nice setting and a beautiful interior space. We chose to sit outside since it was such a pleasant day, and the surroundings made for a very enjoyable atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the food and service didn’t quite match the setting. The bifana seemed fine at first bite but quickly tasted old toward the end. The meat was cut into small pieces and gave the impression that older meat may have been mixed with fresh. Service overall was not particularly good, which took away from the experience.

This is a wonderful, delicious place! My new favorite in Lousã. There are two places here - a table service restaurant (we had the duck and the leitão, both amazing) and a casual bar with snacks in the park, which does a good burger. O Parque (table service) has a delicious cover with octopus salad and herb butter, and the desserts are to die for. Try the Beirao and strawberry mousse. I’m picky about dessert and it’s the best I’ve had in Portugal. The atmosphere is a nice mix of casual fine dining and family table. You’ll be comfy no matter what you wear....

Podria darles cinco estrellas pero no pudimos saber ni como es la comida, tampoco el sevicio y menos el ambiente, porque en Google Maps decia que estan abiertos de 10:00 hasta 12:00am y cundo lleagamos nos encontramos con que estaban cerrados hasta el 27 de octubre. No cuesta nada poner eso en el Google Maps y evitarle al cliente el mal rato de llegar y encontrar cerrado. Revisando veo que ellos ocmunica esto por Instagram, pero uno no usa Instagram para buscar como llegar en el mapa. Deben hacerlo en Maps tambien. Podia dar cinco estrelas, mas nem podíamos saber como é a comida, nem o atendimento e muito menos o ambiente, porque no Google Maps dizia que estão abertos das 10h00 às 12h00 e quando chegámos descobrimos que estavam fechados até dia 27 de outubro. Não custa nada colocar isto no Google Maps e poupar ao cliente o trabalho de chegar e encontrá-lo fechado. Verificando, vejo que eles comunicam isso no Instagram, mas não se usa o Instagram para procurar direções no mapa. Eles deveriam fazer isso no Maps também. I could give them five stars but we couldn't find out what the food was like, nor the service, and even less the atmosphere, because Google Maps said they were open from 10:00 to 12:00am and when we arrived we found that they were closed until October 27th. It doesn't cost anything to put that in Google Maps and avoid the customer the bad experience of arriving and finding it closed. Looking back, I see that they are communicating this via Instagram, but you don't use Instagram to look up directions on a map. They should do it...
