LouzanPlace's — Hotel in Lousã

We stayed here for a short time and all 5 of us were absolutely gutted to be going home. LouzanPlaces was absolutely perfect for our group.

For myself I wanted a short break away from work and just to relax and do nothing - I could do just that, with the shops, restaurants and bars a short walk away it was perfect for me. For the 4 lads of the group louzanpark was right around the corner and the owners of LouzanPlaces were so accommodating and accepting that they were downhill riders. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were shown extensive care during our stay.

Any queries were answered within 20 minutes and we were made to feel right at home.

We will be visiting again and definitely for longer!

LouzanPlace is centrally located in the town of Lousa, Portugal. I had the pleasure of staying in both units. Each were recently renovated, charming and cozy with everything you need no matter how long your stay. Not to mention impeccably clean. Pedro and his family were amazing hosts and always there to help. The town offers many cafes and restaurants and amazing scenery. Well mapped and maintained trails through the beautiful mountains offer options for all levels of hiking abilities. The historic castle, natural river pool (known as the Burgo or Nossa Sra da Piedade), and various other sites are well worth a visit. Day trips to the the Schist Villages are easy to make from this location. It's also near Coimbra and other quaint towns. LouzanPlaces' NinePlace was a comfortable, spacious and well-equipped apartment, located on a quiet side street that's nonetheless at the very center of the town. You'd be hard pressed to find a better location! The hosts are lovely and communicative, offering a wealth of great touring suggestions from hikes to restaurants....
