Ericeira Soul Guesthouse — Hotel in Mafra

Where shall I start? Well from the moment you enter in their gorgeous reception/bar you will notice that this guesthouse is in another level from other ones. The warm welcome you get from the receptionist added to the welcome drink they give is another big plus. At this time, the receptionist (sorry I forgot your name!) besides checked you in , she also gives you all (and I mean ALL) information about the city, beaches, restaurants(amazing selection!) , how to move within the city etc… everything ! |Our room was a huge triple room with enough space for the 3luggages we had and with a big toilet and nice shower. The room had everything we needed for our 4 night stay! |The guesthouse has a nice pool to chill with a drink , which we did after the beach. |Breakfast had everything we needed to a perfect start of the day: fruits, fresh juices, yogurt, excellent bread (try the potato one!), cheeses and ham. The guesthouse is so centrally located that car will not be needed for almost nothing( Praia do Sul and Pescadores is walking distance). Since we followed the hotel recommendations for beaches a bit more far away (Foz the|Lizando and Ribeira das Ilhas) we just took an Uber (very cheap) with no problem whatsoever.|I think is now obvious we loved this place and we will definitely come back on our next visit to Ericeira. We loved our weeklong stay at this little B&B. It was unfortunately raining all day long everyday when we stayed there which was very frustrating because Ericeira is a beach and surf village. The nice team made our stay wonderful and always cheered us up. We had breakfast very late and they never complained and even served us before noon. The room I was in was spacious and on the groundfloor. It was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was facing the pool and had a window which I loved. I would always choose a room on the ground floor and not upstairs. Location is simply great. You are right above the main beach and nearby very nice little restaurants and cafés. I recommend the B&B for a casual stay when you seek a clean, friendly and ideally located no-frills place. It is basic but all you need for a liitle break from daily business routine. For us, this was the best spot in Ericeira and I would always choose the Guesthouse again when in town. If you love yoga, please also do not miss out on Ericeira Yoga Studio and one of Catarinas‘s Aerial Yoga classes. It was so much fun and playful, especially given...

My boyfriend and I have had a great time in Ericeira Soul Guesthouse. They serve a complete breakfast with fresh fruit, everything was very clean, the room was beautiful and very well isolated (we were there during a village festival and did not suffer from noise because of the triple glazing). And most of all: the people who work there are all very friendly and helpful and speaks very good English.

Ericeira Soul Guesthouse is run by Filipa and André. And the fact that we know their names, says something about how they run their guesthouse. It’s very cozy and relaxed. It’s a place where you feel at ease. At the check-in they gave us a welcome drink, and told us the best place to eat, and to visit in the area.

Nothing was too much to ask. After check out we had to kill a few ours. It was no problem to leave our luggage there and spend a few ours at the pool and in Ericeira.
