The Estalagem de Marvão is a lovely, authentic, tranquil get-away in the historical centre of Marvão. It is in a very great location! The room itself was filled with authentic, traditional furniture and still had all the modern conveniences like airconditioning, a tv with lots of tv channels and fast WiFi. The bed was very comfortable, extra pillows were foreseen in the spacious closet. Other than that, the ensuite bathroom has a spacious shower and has a very nice size. The room was spotlessly clean and had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was included, and it was a very extensive one: minimum three different kinds of bread, cereals, charcuterie, great coffee served with warm milk, local products and much more! All to be served in a very nice breakfast-hall. The owner is very professional, speaks different languages fluently and he is one of the kindest we’ve ever met. He is very easy to reach, so you’re free to plan your arrival. He is a true Marvão-expert and he makes sure that you are comfortable during the whole stay. Estalagem de Marvão was a great surprise for us. It's located in the heart of Marvão village and even though it's kind of a little complicated getting there, the owner sent us a message letting us know the exactly directions to get to the parking lot. The apartments are located in the top of a small and cute store. You need to go up using the "Stairs" (there is no elevator), but it was not so hard and we did manage well. The apartment is really well decorated, with the old building style mixed with modern renovation in the bathroom and bedroom. They gave us the option to be in the second floor where the views were amazing. The location is perfect, you can walk from there everywhere in the Village in few minutes. We stayed here for three nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The B&B itself is a real joy. We had a big and clean room, with great shower facilities. There's also a living room with a fireplace, which was really useful since it was really cold for the time of the year. It was really nice to read and relax after walking during the day. Breakfast was great as well. Location is superb, in the center of the small hill top village of Marvão. The owners also have the village shop, so if you need anything you can get it there.
