I stayed at this hostel for a few months for work, and my experience did not match what was advertised. The cleanliness of the common areas leaves much to be desired, the bed linen was never changed, and the toilet paper frequently runs out in the bathrooms—I usually only notice when it's too late. There are absurd rules, such as the prohibition of lying on the sofa, even though you're paying for a space that should offer comfort. The installed cameras are not for security (for example, to prevent frequent food thefts), but rather to monitor guests, which creates an uncomfortable and invasive atmosphere. There is no real screening of guests—I witnessed 2 knife threats and disturbances during the night after people took drugs in the garden, which makes the place unsafe. People... The management's attitude makes you feel like you're there as a favor, not as a paying customer. Definitely not a pilgrims albergue, so definitely skip this one. It’s mostly younger people staying here, and unfortunately the group I was in was party goers. They were in and out till the wee hours of the morning. Most restless and sleepless night I spent in an albergue. It’s also very far from the route to...
Read moreThe approach is easy (although it was difficult to drag the rolling suitcase on the bumpy road), it is a 10-minute comfortable walk from the Senhora da Hora metro station, which can be reached in a short time from the city center. A larger Lidl can be reached within a 20-minute walk. The area is quiet, so a peaceful rest is guaranteed. The room was small but comfortable. The separate shared kitchen area (including the shared fridge) was quite cramped, and the tenants who spent most of the day in the accommodation were almost always crowded there. Reception had limited...
