To the West of Faro is Olhos and beyond on the coastline is Fuzeta, a small fishing village, that is quiet, quaint & almost takes you back in time to the Algarve of past years.||Moinhas Das Mares is independently owned, situated just out of the centre of the village. Within easy (flat) walking distance you have the sea front(s), Bars, restaurants & local shops.||For the independent traveller across the road is the bus stop & approximately 200-250 metres is Fuzeta railway station. A ticket to Faro on the train is approximately €3, so easy on the pocket and an relaxing way to visit main town of the Algarve.||A local supermarket is approximately 100 metres (the same direction as to the railway station) so you can stock up on any provisions.||For those hiring a car, this small hotel has it’s own secure car park, giving you a remote to operate the electronic gate.||The rooms are authentic Portuguese with all modern facilities including air conditioning and very clean. Your accommodation is an beautifully restored and tastly decorated tidal mill with 5 rooms, because of its former function located in the wetland. The rooms have central heating (very nice in winter) and airconditioning. Fuseta is still a fishing village and although touristic, it maintains a local atmosphere.
