Restaurante Casa Corvo is an outstanding dining experience in the Algarve. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The servers are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The interior is charming, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. I tried the medium tuna, which came well done, so I recommend specifying how you want it cooked. Even so, it was still very flavorful and enjoyable. Other dishes we tried were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, but not overwhelming. The wine selection complements the menu very well. The service is professional and efficient without feeling rushed. Reservations are recommended as it is a popular spot, and the staff handle them very smoothly. The location is convenient, easy to find, and there is parking nearby. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Every detail shows attention and care. Dining at Casa Corvo feels special and relaxed. Overall, it is a highlight of any trip to...
Read moreWe arrived at this restaurant at 6:15 and there was already a queue waiting (we knew to come early as we tried last week and there was a big waiting list!). When they opened at 6:30 all tables were immediately taken and lots of people queued until there were tables free.
You can see why - the waitress we had was lovely - very happy and friendly with good English. Food came very quickly, and a change made very quickly when we asked (more chips!). We ordered Salmon, wild Dourada and Sardines along with sides ( you get 2 free with each fish). All was absolutely delicious - seasoned very well, crispy and extremely tasty. The sides were great, especially the creamy, buttery new potatoes!! Nice touch to have some garlic oil with all dishes.
We also tried bannoffee pie, the egg pudding and chocolate mousse, all very nice but particularly the chocolate mousse - so smooth!!
We all agreed that it was our favourite meal we have had...
Read moreOur expectations were high based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Can’t use the superlatives like “best fish in this part of the Algarve” because we haven’t seen enough restaurants here yet. But of the 20 something restaurants we’ve experienced in Portugal, this definitely ranks in the top 3. I had Tuna Stupeda (tuna simmered at just above body temperature with tomatoes and peppers in a vinaigrette) and then local Wild Golden Bream with salad and fries. The fish was grilled in front of our eyes (not far from our table) and it was tender and salted just right. (If you’ve never filleted your own fish, you’ll be in for a fun challenge.) For desert we shared a “3 delights of Algarve Tart” with tastes of fig, almond and caramel. I topped it off with a glass of house wine and sparkling water. The whole meal cost us just shy of €50 for two people....
