Hotel dos Loios — Hotel in Santa Maria da Feira

We visited during the festival and what an amazing experience we all had. The hotel was in a fantastic location and you could walk to local shops and restaurants with easy. It is only a 15 min walk from the local train station with regular access to a beautiful beach. Our party even took to surf school whilst at the beach. The less energetic amongst us enjoyed lunch alfresco at one of the beach bars and then took a leisurely stroll along the sea front. ||||The hotel is clean and friendly and serves a lovely breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit and a variety of teas. ||||The cafe and bar underneath the hotel serves as an ideal pit stop for any time of the day of the evening. The supermarket is only a 10 min walk away. ||||The best part of my trip was sitting on the balcony in the evenings watching the local prepare for the festival, which is better than living in Warwick Castle. We visited during the Medieval festival in August 2023. The location of this hotel to visit the Festival is amazing! It is around the corner from the festival, but you still have a little distance to have a good and quiet night to sleep. The hotel is ok, doesn't offer nothing so different from the average.||The breakfast is simple and if you want eggs this is something charged apart.||We got a little disappointed when we asked to use the microwave one night to heat our daughter dinner and the hotel staff said that they don't have microwave, but they do have a kitchen where he could perfectly...

Hotel situado no centro de SMFeira, com estacionamento público em abundância (pago de 2 a 6f). Staff muito simpático e prestável, ambiente agradável e limpo. Os quartos são simples, muito espaçosos e com o conforto necessário para quem pretende passar uns dias no centro cidade sem recurso ao carro. Nota-se preocupação em manter e substituir algum do mobiliário e equipamento existente, mantendo assim tudo em perfeitas condições. Sentimos apenas falta de uma cafeteira, algo que, efetivamente, não se encontrava na descrição do quarto aquando a nossa reserva. No entanto, após falarmos com o funcionário da recepção e em 5 minutos, foi-nos disponibilizada e entregue uma no nosso quarto. Os quartos do hotel são abertos com umas chaves que devem ser deixadas e recolhidas na recepção a cada entrada/saida do hospede. Este procedimento em nada alterou a nossa estadia, no entanto, fez-nos um bocado confusão porque tínhamos que estar sempre a "chatear" o funcionário/a a cada entrada/saída. Este hotel tem um elevador, outro dos aspetos positivos, em especial para quem tem mobilidade reduzida ou vem com muitas malas/peso.
