The place was built in 1970 and not much appears to have been changed. Yes, it's been maintained very well, everything works just fine and it's clean. And it'll have a refurbishment from about October this year. The furniture looks like it's still the same although no complaints on quality and upkeep. Half decent breakfast, although it does look like everyday the same. Biggest asset? People are extremely friendly and helpful. Second biggest asset: a nice leafy location in a quiet residential area. Read more...it's an alright hotel but at 55 Euros per night, it's only 10 euros cheaper than the beautiful Casa do Médico de S.Rafael which is much cleaner, very central and has a fantastic restaurant. We were lazy, rushed into checking-in to a place asap and felt quite silly when we went to Casa Do Medico for drinks and dinner. The location is probably the worst thing about the Buzio. A good 15 minute walk (in a small city) from the historic centre of Sines. Rooms are clean but very basic....
