It was a warm afternoon November with the sun still above the horizon. We made a tour around the town and found this castle and statue of Vasco da Gama. I've heard about him wayback school life but forgot the details. Anyway, the place was nice- a typical summer destination which is visited less by people during year end months. I can say that this place would have been great if the castle was open. We only saw the statue and its walls from the outside. I had so much fun with the...

The Avenida Vasco da Gama, which skirts the beach, has been requalified under the Sines Urban...

A beautiful, compact and well protected beach. Nestled between the fishing port and the pleasure boat port of Sines and well protected by the accompanying sea defences and only a short distance to cafés and restaurants this is a perfect little beach for taking the kids and or novice swimmers. Plenty of parking near by.
