Let me start off to say that this is the worst hotel we have stayed in and the worst customer experience ever.||My partner and I had the misfortune of staying in this hotel, initially booked 2 nights but decided to leave after just 1 night.||During our short stay we encountered a number of unsatisfactory service level, poor condition of customer service and overall poor condition of the hotel.||We chose the property after reviewing the website which portrays a completely different picture compared to reality.||The Hotel Imperial offer a lot of amenities that are not even available.||Ever since we checked in, the experience had always been the worst.||The receptionist was extremely rude to us, the hotel is rated a 4 * but it barely reaches a 2, upon arrival we wanted to park the car but there were no available parking places. We were instructed to park on the street or in the parking lot, which was impossible to do, due the fact that it was occupied at its full capacity.||It is unacceptable that the hotel which is rated a 4 star hotel has just 6 parking lots. Also we were told to park on the street if there aren’t no available Parking spots.||Can someone explain me how this is possible? How can we park a 350.000 EUR car on a street in a foreign city where there is no sign of minimum safety?||The solution provided by the hotel staff is outrageous and unimaginable, to receive such an answer, taking in consideration the fact that we have payed for the amenities which have been promoted on the website.||My partner found a parking place near the hotel terrace, it is worth mentioning that we did not restrict access in any way and did not inconvenience anyone.||We were called aggressively by hotel staff telling us to move the car, we explained the situation and asked for a parking space but they were not open to help and find a solution. On the contrary, both me and my partner received insults, threats, and the so-called hotel manager instigated violence, trying to hit my partner.||They threatened us, telling us to leave the hotel, which of course we didn't do because we had a contract and the room was paid in advance.||We were victims of verbal aggression and physical violence, shoving and pushing.||The manager's attitude was extremely aggressive, he did not seek any solution and it was not possible to have a discussion in civilised terms.||We spent the night in terror and fear, the so-called manager being accompanied by other equally aggressive employees.||I had a panic attack and threw up all night thinking that something bad might happen to us, they also mentioned the fact that if we don’t obey they will damage the car.||As far as the hotel layout is concerned, the pictures in no way reflect reality. The hotel is located in a remote place, next to the hotel construction is taking place, the noise starting from early morning.||The spa is in an equally poor condition, there is no security in the changing rooms, just some lockers that have no locking system, practically the goods are not secured at all.||The Jacuzzi did not work at all, we called the SPA manager who gave us a pathetic explanation saying that it starts automatically, asked at what interval he did not know how to answer. Basically lies. ||The SPA location is very small, crowded, there are not many facilities and the bar leaves much to be desired. Small selection of drinks.||Rooms are cluttered, no air conditioning, towels of poor quality and very small and hair dryers not at all efficient, gel shower and shampoo also cheapest quality which don’t make a 4. ||||||I hope that you agree with me that this type of service and behaviour is completely unacceptable at so many levels. How can it be possible that such experience is provided and nobody takes act on it. ||It is not the kind of treatment we would have expected from a 4* hotel, feeling at threat and having to go through this...
Read moreI booked a suite at this hotel, attracted by the promise of a jacuzzi on the terrace. When we tried to use it, we were met with a disgusting smell. We turned on the bubble system, hoping the odor would dissipate, but the water began to foam suspiciously, indicating deplorable hygiene. We decided not to get into the water.||In the morning, in daylight, we noticed that the edge of the jacuzzi was dirty after the foam had dissolved, and the water was greenish. (See photos)||At check-out, I calmly and without making demands, informed the reception about these issues, but the attitude of the lady at the front desk was extremely aggressive. She said, "Well, of course the water is filthy if you go in fully clothed or who knows what else you did...". I tried to explain, without success, that we hadn't even put a hand in the water. :)||At breakfast, I ordered a cappuccino and agreed to pay extra, but it was of unacceptable quality, both in presentation and taste.||After finishing our meal, my foreign colleague tried to politely communicate the issue in English, apologizing but saying he couldn't drink the coffee because it didn't look right. The lady who prepared the coffee, not understanding English, responded aggressively in Romanian: "...tell him to leave me alone and not to pay for it...", directing her message to a man she was sitting with at the table.||The lady was the same person from the reception, and she was having breakfast at the same time as the guests, at a table full of documents and other items, creating an unprofessional image for a 4-star hotel.||I requested a discussion with a manager, and after delays and contradictory answers, he appeared and treated us with the same superiority and aggression. The hotel administrator was, in fact, the man to whom the multi-role lady had sent the message: "...tell him to leave me alone and not to pay for it...".||When I asked why he allowed such reactions from his staff towards customers, he replied: "What do you want, man, for us to get on our knees in front of you just because you're a customer..?"||The unprofessional behavior, his attire, and the contradictory answers from the receptionist made me suspicious of the administrator's role. There is a possibility that this man was not the actual hotel administrator, and if that is the case, he will need to answer to the authorities for falsely declaring his role.||I also noticed other unacceptable issues for a 4-star accommodation: torn bathrobes, a toilet seat secured with only one screw, damaged bathroom furniture, and foreign staff who don't speak either Romanian or English.||I could have easily overlooked all of this, as I was on vacation, relaxed, and apart from the jacuzzi incident, we actually had a good time. The suite is decent, the spa is well-equipped with many relaxation areas... it could have been a good experience if the receptionist had behaved appropriately when I simply pointed out some legitimate issues without making demands.||I didn't even need an apology, but I cannot accept being treated with aggressive attitude, insults, and frustrated reactions, especially after paying 1300 Ron for one night.||After this experience, I believe that sanitary and hygiene standards are not being met, which is why I alerted the authorities. The attitude towards customers is unacceptable. I was embarrassed in front of my colleagues for the way we were treated by a frustrated and incompetent receptionist and an even less competent...
Read moreWe wanted to have treatment in Baile Olanesti, and unfortunately we had chosen this nightmare hotel, due to their website, that fit our requirements. When arrived at the hotel , nothing that was mentioned on their website was really true. We felt we have been deceived, not only with the appearance of the hotel but also with the unreasonable behaviour of the staff including the owner of the hotel Vali Ghimpe. Our room was superficially cleaned, toilet and shower have never been cleaned during our 7 days stay at this hotel. No space in the bathroom to have our towels or toiletries, towels were left on the bed or chairs by the staff, and we have to use the bidee to keep our tooth paste, shampoo etc. The bedding was changed after 5 days at our request. There is only one lift in this hotel for the staff and for the tourists, most of the days we had to use the stairs, because staff was using the lift regularly. The Parking space was not big enough and not marked ,so, everybody was parking the cars wherever they wanted, it was a chaos and lack of organisation. We had to park our car far away and walk aprox 1 mile every day from this hotel to our car. Breakfast was served with no protection gloves, staff was touching the food with their bare hands. Extremely unhygienic and dangerous for our health. repairs and building work was carried out until 23:30 in the night. We were exhausted and had sleepless nights. When complained about the unbearable noise, the owner Vali Ghimpe had an uncontrolled rage fit. We suffered insults, verbal abuse , threats and finally she told us to leave the hotel, with the question, quote:" Why did you come here"? There was no kettle in the room for a coffee or tea, no tissues eithers. The price is extremely expensive for what you get. I can say unreasonable and unjustified. For £85/per night one can have a brilliant hotel in UK or any other countries in Europe, but not in this country. We found no hospitably and our holiday was ruined . We did not find heaven, as they say on their website, but hell||This is not a...
