Hotel "Tisa" — Hotel in Băile Olănești

The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit early but they made an effort to accommodate us. The rooms were very clean, we had almost everything needed. The hotel indoor pool is at the second floor, free access to guests staying there. There is a dry and wet sauna and a salt one right near the pool. Unfortunately during our 4 days stay the wet sauna wasn’t working, although we visit the area in the opening hours of the saunas( there is a time schedule on the door leading to the lockers where you can see the times to access the saunas; the pool si open all day). The breakfast was buffet style, fresh and had a good variety of foods; for dinner we chose a la carte menu and it did not disappoint. The only downside was that in one of our rooms the smell in the toilet was bad, coming from the sewage system; it might be because of the springs in the area- the hotel has one near reception. In order to get the discount for Aqua Park that they currently offer, you need to speak with staff at the reception; also you can’t get water from the local springs if you don’t have a doctor’s note, which would also be checked at reception. With my girlfriend and other friend we have decided to go together for relaxing weekend somewhere where we could use swimming pool. We were nicely surprised the quality and diverse offer we could choose all in decent prices. First the pool was open which in 2020 wasn't that obvious. We had two spacious and well arranged rooms with very comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and we could pay for all with our Romanian edenred vacanta vouchers card. We had taken an opportunity and during our one night stay we have used swimming pool on Saturday afternoon as well as Sunday morning what was great and not too crowded. But we took also a massage session (my girlfriend 50min massage where I and friend took 20min sessions) and that is really great option to relax and treat yourself!
