My-Hotel Apartments — Hotel in Bucharest

We stayed in Bucharest, Romania for 4 nights during the Summer Holiday 2018. We asked for a very quiet apartment, and what can I say? Wow! We were given a very luxurious apartment, which actually had soundproofing that good, that you couldn’t hardly hear anything outside at all, if you have the windows closed, it was an executive apartment. The apartment was very quiet, spacious, had very good air conditioning, it was in a quiet and not that busy neighbourhood. It is located near the business airport of Bucharest. It is also 20-25 minutes away drive from Bucharest Henri Coanda/Otopeni Airport.||There is also a local corner shop down the Main Street, situated by a busy dual carriage way which leads to Central Bucharest. There is also another large supermarket, in the opposite direction on the separate cut off road, heading out of Bucharest, which is about 15-20 minutes walk from the apartment we stayed in. If I had to say, what were the best things about the apartment we had, it is: The quietness, the jacuzzi type bath and the breakfast each morning.||I accidentally left my bank card behind, on the day of departure from Bucharest, and Christina (One of the staff), drove to the airport personally to reunite it with me, even though she didn’t have to. I actually stayed here back Oct 24-25, but only now found my old booking, which prompted me to write this review. First, I was debating on booking within Bucharest city center or here near the airport. If this is you, don't give it a second thought. For us, there was not much to do around Bucharest. It was a bit empty in the downtown walking area and overall, not appealing. We had spent the day there (more like a few hours) and coming to My Hotel Apartments was like a sparking oasis. I had booked the apartment to share with another couple and they were floored. They like the nicer things, and they were so happy that there was a massive master bedroom (really 2 connected bedrooms). Also, croissants were delivered to us in the morning and the food reserved for us in the fridge was so fresh and delicious and really over generous. And though I never fully figured out the shower, I had fun trying! I can't say enough about the hostess and the property. I did not my very best not to leave the apartment messy, b/c I felt for the price, we were taking advantage of our hostess. We have another trip planned with the same friends, and honestly, I don't think I can outdo...

Let it suffice to say that from now on when visiting Bucharest we will be staying here! The pictures featured do not do it justice!

The property manager Christina (who happens to have a close resemblance to look Angelina Jolie) was friendly, helpful and professional. Throughout our stay she patiently & diligently arranged our taxi service needs. Something which we were grateful for since getting a taxi in Bucharest can be a challenge but that's a whole different story. LOL!

The suite, apartment # 2, itself was impeccably furnished & well maintained. To date the BEST housekeeping we have experienced, the attention to detail is evident making it First In Class. The marble floor & tiles in the bathroom were added just the right touch of elegance already present.
