I'll start with the good, which is the serving. The staff was really nice to me, always smiling and helping out. Must speak English but they can also help with some Romanian terms.
The restaurant shares the building with a hotel that needs some modernization. The inside of the reception looks like most Romanian hotels did 20 years ago.
The wait for the food was really long, around 45 min.
Now, for the food itself, which is the most important part. The portion size surprized me in a good way and the craftsmanship of the sushi looked good, but the taste was off. All the seafood (especially the fish, no matter whether we talk about the fresh salmon or the frozen tuna) was leaking water, signs of it being close to being spoiled. It didn't taste spoiled, but at least old, like drinking water from a bottle that was opened a couple days prior. The surimi was 100% white and didn't even taste like surimi. Just because of that, I couldn't finish one of the items I ordered. It kind of tasted like salty starch or wattery, cut scrambled eggs.

It is only 10 mins walking and had no expectations. It was surprisingly good, had edamame, tuna tataki, gyoza, and a California roll. All was good. I also had a couple cold IPAs. Will surely return.
