Hotel Delaf — Hotel in Cluj Metropolitan Area

My wife and I checked into Hotel Delaf for one night 19th July. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable as was the bathroom.The meal in the restaurant in the evening was perfectly adequate. The following morning on returning to the room after forgetting something I caught the room cleaner attempting to steal money from my laptop bag. When I told the man on reception he said, and I quote, "I wonder why she did that, at least you have your money back" When we left I told the man on reception that I would give the hotel a bad review and would never stay there again and he just shrugged. A friend put this news on social media and Hotel Delaf replied saying they would support a report to the police and that the lady had been sacked. Further to this on the Hotel's social media page I gave a more detailed account of what happened and as to date 4 weeks later have not had a personal reply or apology. The attitude of the man on reception made me think he was complicit in the attempted crime and I would not board my dog at Hotel Delaf for fear of them stealing...

Really bad experience when it comes to customer service, It was really cold outside, an absolutely no heat in the rooms or hallways. I went to ask the receptionist and she told me that the owner has tuned off the heating for the year in order to save money. I then asked for a a heater that I can take to my room, and she said that they do not have any. She said to use the extra blanket in the closet. The extra blanket in the closet was extremely dirty and dark spots all over ( not sure what it was, maybe dried up blood). They did absolutely nothing to provide heat in the room .. The worst hotel in Cluj when it comes to hospitality |You be the judge on the extra filthy blanket.. Bad ownership, Wi; report to HORECA and make an official complaint. The heat is mandatory , otherwise it should have been stated prior to payment that the owner is cheap and does not...

Rooms: half updated, bathroom is dull, old shower and everything, towles very old and worn, I have found many small cockroaches in the bathroom - staff doesn't want to talk about it, coming from the pipes connected to other rooms on top and below Staff- arrogant, very arrogant, I felt like they did me a favour to stay there (I have payed, I haven't stayed for free) Parking - disaster.. if there sre more than 5 cars over night than you need to pray the people will leave earlier thsn you, otherwise pray anyway to have patience to wait for them being woke up to move their cars, because the parking will be on the narrow sidewalk Brekfast is ok, you will find something to eat Location- Only point where I can give 3 stars because I like to walk - about 3 km walking in average, being straing road it takes 30 minutes to get to...
