Roots Urban Tastery — Restaurant in Cluj Metropolitan Area

I used to go very often in the Gherogheni location, almost weekly since the place opened and I really enjoyed the service there. But lately the employees are really un-qualified and the rules of the place make no sense. In the last weeks we had to wait long time for someone to pick up our order or to bring the check. Today the only option for a pregnant woman to have a coffee outside was in the front, in the sun at almost 30 degrees even if there were 2 tables available in the back (part of 4 party table groups, but not occupied...so they could have easily been separated and moved). The explanation was that “this is our current configuration and we cannot change it”. Last summer when the covid rules were more stricter they had a more extended sitting area...so to me it doesn’t really make much sense that now they couldn’t do anything. Another “great” rule, this time in the eroilor location, I was asked to put my ipad away as they don’t accept electronic devices during the weekends. I was actually reading a book...I had to leave the place and my coffee from which I just sipped twice. I understand they need to have rules and I respect that...but both the above examples are just...

Very poor service: we waited more than 35 mins for a sandwich while others who came after us were already eating. I also specified at least two times some ingredients I would like to be excluded from my plate and it took them 3 attempts to make it right. Also the type of bread they included the 3rd time was not the be specified one in the menu. Overall a poor experience, although I used to have brunch there once in a while, I don’t think it will be the case anymore. One of the worst places in Cluj, the service si horride. At 11.00 in the day it's abominal to wait 55 minuts for 2 poched eggs and some cheese on the side, I and my firend left hungry and sadd....they didn't even notice. The place is extreemly overpriced for it''s menu also location 0 no view no praking spots, 10 tabel spots. The don't have suficient personel, 1 waiter 1 barista 1 chef, succes rate 100% FAIL.
