The strong point of this hotel is the rooms. Spacious, clean and confortable, with furniture in good condition and AC that does the job (i had two ACs in my room, don't know why).||The weird bit is the reception and access in the hotel. I arrived midday, the door was locked. There was an announcement saying "call this number". I did and somebody came (5minutes later), to open the door. I got an access card for the front door. After that, reception was always empty, except for early morning. If you had a question or anything, there was nobody, ever, at the reception desk.||||I didn't try the restaurant there or the kitchen for tourists.||||The balcony is a joke, it can't even fit a chair (I mean it), it's more like a round slab of concrete, only one person can fit standing.||||There is no elevator, so be prepared to drag your luggage up the stairs...
Read moreThe reception (2 unprofessional girls) and the manager of the Briza Marii are rude and ignorant. We stayed for half a night and the music from 2 nearby terraces was blasting at 9 PM. At 11 PM, I requested to speak with the manager and I simply could not believe the attitude of the guy. We asked for our money back since we could rest properly for the night and he literally was mocking us. We left in the middle of the night, paying half of the 100$ per night they were charging us. Absolutely outrageous. Avoid at all cost. No hot water between 17:00 and 20:30 (only after 21:30), no second language spoken whatsoever, old '70s style rooms, unpleasant reception and rude customer service. You'll find better deals around Mamaia area! ||||Location is terrible due to the noise from the surrounding bars and lounges. You will not close an...
Read moreI was there 3 nights in September.||||It is a hotel but with limited access. You get an access card and wotk your way in after hours, the doors are locked. ||No elevator, no night staff but the hotel is right on the beach, another hotel is blocking the view but still have some partial sea exposure. There is no terrace, just a Juliette balcony, but that's good enough, some other hotels don't even have that. ||||The place is clean and the staff, when available, in the morning is helpful. I had the maid press my shirts and she didn't even asked for money, ||I only paid 20 Euros/night, the place was full, the only room was on the third floor. Not used with hauling my luggage up on the stair, no bell boy and I didn't take on the receptionist's (girl) offer to help me out on the stairs. ||Over all, a decent place to stay for a few days...
