Casa Elisabeta — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

I must say I was fairly concerned after reading some reviews here and having already booked our stay, BUT our experience was pretty much ideal. The rooms are not all that big, yes, but then again, what would you expect for the price (paired with ease of access to most main attractions)? What they are though is clean; the bathrooms were average sized, indeed, but we all had clean towels to spare, hair dryer was available etc. We traveled as a small group of friends and it suited our needs perfectly. We found the place to be quiet and conveniently located for trips to the beach/restaurants/supermarkets/ bus stop etc. We particularly enjoyed the terrace with all the beautifully maintained flowers - we hadn't seen any pictures of it before arriving and we were quite impressed, it really is a perfect quiet oasis for a coffee or a late beer before bed. The landlady is also very nice and helpful, while at the same time quite discrete. I'd highly recommend it for people looking for clean accommodation with good access. At the same time, if you're planning on firing up the bbq and having a small party this place might indeed not be ideal, but for a small group out and about it...

(+) The hotel is near a new beach in Constanta, a natural reservation, dolphin spectacles centre, planetarium and quite near Mamaia resort. ||Also, each guest receive a key from the gate and thus, is quite safe. The terrace is quite and large enough for sunbathes but for no more than 5-6 people.|| ||(-) Although, the rooms are fully equipped, they are very small. The air conditioning is old and smells. Also the bathroom ha a very small shower cabin and itself is very small. The towels are overwashed and they look used . You don't have enough room to sit on the chair at the desk to use your laptop or to eat.||It has a common balcony and all the passing people can look into your room if the window curtains are not used.||The terrace is equipped with all the necessary equipment for cooking and eating but they are dirty. Been here for the weekend , stayed two more days. Nice cozy place to stay. Nice kitchenette on the terrace ( covered).
