GmG — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

This is an average hotel at best, certainly not 4 star. The staff are welcoming but some of their discrimination against foreigners is blatant. The breakfast is a buffet style and at 7 a.m looks quite presentable, but at 10 am, you are getting the leftovers and no hot food. Saying that I went for breakfast and got a 'good morning', pleasant enough. I help myself to what's left.....2 Romanian guests enter, after a the waitress approaches them and has a chat, are presented with a nice fresh omelette and fried eggs with hot toast. So my advice is to ask for fresh food, as it won't always be offered. ||The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired, I have been in 2 rooms and the first one had a shower cabin, with radio and all mod cons, except it didn't work, had to tie the shower head up to be able to get washed. The second room had scum round the bath were the fitters had not done a very good job. There is a pool of water on the floor after every bath or shower.||Been to the restaurant twice for dinner and twice sat there for 10 and 15 minuted respectively with no sign of staff, so left and went elsewhere.||The cleaning staff are pleasant enough girls, but as I say the bathrooms need a good scrub.||Reported the broken fridge in my room several days ago, nobody has bothered to sort it.||Have used the laundry service a few times and always get somebody's extras in with mine, can't even remember what I may have lost but they did bring a shirt the day after the bulk of my laundry. ||All in all a great building but they have let standards slip and it wouldn't be a big cost to get it up...

It has 4 stars officially, but in fact it doesn't have more than 2 and a half stars. The massage shower cabin smelled like mildew, even after the first night when I left on the ventilation in the bathroom. The second day, at 4:30 pm when we went back to the hotel the garbage was at its place ... nobody bothered to pick it up, and when I asked the cleaning ladies they told me they didn't pick it up because they didn't have the time to. And the icing on the cake was Saturday morning at 6:10 am, when we were awakened by the some drunk guys from the hotels who were singing from all their lungs. It took about half an hour .... untill tey went to sleep, because nobody from the hotel's stuff bothered to shut them off. I do not...

I was supposed to stay one week in this hotel, but we left after just one night. The problems started when we wanted to park – no free space available (there are only 3 or 4 available for the entire hotel) and we had to park someone else. No problem.||||Get to the room: everything looked ok, but only for a second. Bad smell, bath tube with Jacuzzi but full of dirt, mold and rust. No hot water (my colleague had no water at all in a different room). Bed was ok. Breakfast was disappointing (to be nice). TV not working.
