Read moreWe recently stayed at [Hotel Name] for two nights in room 224, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
First, the room we were given had a single king bed, despite our booking being for a double bed. When we requested an additional bed, we were asked to pay an extra 150 Lei, which was unreasonable and caused all of us to sleep in one bed. The room itself was small but acceptable. However, it was evident that it had not been checked properly as the room phone was not working, forcing us to use our mobile phones to contact the front desk whenever we needed something.
Our first day at the pool was fine, thanks to the helpful bar staff. The person taking our orders made an effort to ensure we were happy. Unfortunately, the service on the second day was terrible. There were no smiles or greetings, and I had to go to the bar to order drinks and food. The staff at the bar asked us to wait for Razvan, who had a very bad attitude. He passed by us several times without taking our order and eventually did so with a clear lack of hospitality.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast team. The young staff members were very helpful, always smiling, and willing to assist with whatever we needed. They were the highlight of our stay.
At checkout, we were asked to pay an additional 100 Lei for our 6-year-old daughter, despite informing the front desk at check-in that we were two adults and one child. After a long discussion, they insisted on the payment, claiming that if I had included the child in the booking, the rate would have changed. However, when I made a new booking with a 6-year-old child, the rate stayed the same. It was only then that the manager agreed to refund the additional charge.
Overall, this hotel falls far short of any hospitality standards and would not even merit a one-star rating. The bar staff in particular need immediate replacement, as it's the first time I've seen staff smoking and drinking while on duty in front...
