Andre's Hotel — Hotel in Craiova Metropolitan Area

If you like to enjoy service like communistic times: book this hotel. The rooms are not clean, behind the bed you find the rubbish of centuries and about the bathroom I do not speak: it is too disgusting. The breakfast is extremely poor. We had to call 10 minutes for a service person for ordering a coffee. The coffee was delivered after 12 (!!!) minutes. If you like to see how the service was in communistic times: look to the lady who will deliver coffee or bring additional bred: no single word, no "good morning", no question what we wish. It is really unbelievable. The length of the bar is 1 meter. The length of the reception 1 meter too. No elevator. If you look below the bed sheets you will see some disgusting surprises. The promotional lighting outside of the hotel is red like a brothel and in so far my advice: AVOID THIS HOTEL...

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews and so many complaints. I stayed during the Christmas fair, and I have nothing but praise for my experience with this facility. Everything is great, from the cleanliness of the rooms, bathrooms, corridors, common rooms and the beautiful restaurant. the rooms are unexpectedly large and comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious with all equipment. the receptionist, who I think is also the owner of the facility, is a completely correct and decent person. parking in front of the hotel, walking distance from the city center. and finally a very affordable price for accommodation with breakfast. keep it up and I will definitely stop by again when passing through this...

I needed a place to stay in Craiova for a month or so. This hotel was close to the place I was interested in but I couldn't resist more than a couple of weeks.||The rooms are nice and big, the breakfast is OK and the receptionists and the waiters also. The hotel has a parking space and a pretty good restaurant (ie: there are weddings/baptisms every weekend). Everything good except from the treatment received from the lady owner so I decided to move to another place for the last 2 weeks of my staying in Craiova. This is a really cosy hotel but they might gain more if the lady owner would avoid interacting...
