Prestige Boutique Hotel Craiova — Hotel in Craiova Metropolitan Area

Congrats! This hotel is really nice and I am glad that I read all the reviews before booking it. |Parking is free during weekdays and the position of the hotel is amazing! Very close to old center and museum, theatre, etc. |The first thing you should know is that they hold events during the weekend and it’s good to ask for a quiet room at 3rd floor. ( which we mentioned it in the moment we booked the room). |The receptionist was very nice and kind and I really liked the way that sue talked and explained things. |The room was “gigantic” and I’ve been to other hotels of 4* and 5* so I can really compare this. Big like for this aspect. |The room was clean and bathroom big and clean too, towels, tea and some kind of (ness) coffee to make it in the room. |The bed was really comfortable, as it should be. |The breakfast was more than i was imagined, everything that you need or want. |You guys have a very good variety of tea!!! That was very tasty!!! |So I do recommend this place to go! If we will come in Craiova again, for sure...

Not a good experience overall. We stayed in December with our 3 year old child. We received a room on the 1st floor with an idea of windows (windows way up almost into the ceiling, no way of using them). Temperature was very hot, AC was not adjustable, we couldn't open the windows for fresh air. Also, there is no natural light into the room. There is complete darkeness - if you don't know your surroundings you might trip and fall (our child fell and hurt her face). A lot of dust into the room also and during our stay noone came to clean the room. Breakfast was ok, but not very diversified. On the last evening there was an anniversarry - music was very loud with bass pumping all over the room. The party downstairs went on until 4 am then it continued with the reorganization of the festivity room - after manele and poor live music, we had the chance to hear the chairs being dragged out and the cutlery being put back in place. Horrible experience, don't recommend this hotel to anyone travelling...

Been there for three days. The hotel is clean overall, the stuff is friendly and the breakfast it’s okay. I know it’s a subjective chapter but the interior design, in my opinion, it’s just horror. It mimic the ultra luxury but it’s only kitsch. Stucco paintings on the walls, gold leafs wanna be everywhere...it just doesn’t work for me. The main reason for the 3 stars it’s the noise. My room was at the second floor, near the outside chillers. The windows can’t keep up with the noise and in the end you get an ambient chiller noise non stop. The second main problem it’s the AC in the room. It’s so loud that it woke me twice in one night because he starts automatically. The third main problem it’s the noise of the water pipe system. When someone flush the toilet for example your hear that loud and clear and you have the feeling that the water will come into your room. I won’t came back again althought i payed a fair price for four stars rating. Oh, the backside view it’s terrible...
