Angelo D'Oro — Hotel in Ploiești

I bpoked two rooms in the hotel for 2 couples attending our wedding. The reception girl was super unfriendly since the beginning- I visited the hotel a few times to make sure everything will be fine with the rooms and guests. First visit I asked to add a baby cot and she said they did not have any. I asked her to call the manager and ask her. She was reluctant to call the manager but did it in the end. Unfortunately they did not have any baby cots which is very strange- so I had to bring one from one of my friends to make sure the baby had where to sleep. Then, I told her which couple should be in which room- obviously the couple with the baby had to be in the room where the cot was. Of course she checked them in in the other room. My guests also commented that she was quite unfriendly and rude with them, not helpful at all. They wanted some milk for their baby and she just said that they do not have any, not offering to provide a solution. The hotel is beautiful and the price is not cheap for such a hotel but this particular girl at the reception was terrible and this makes me not recommend this hotel. Every time I asked her something I had the impression I was bothering her from watching facebook...

Hotel rooms are small but the mansion looks kind of cool. Breakfast location is in a Wintergarten without heat or better said chilly and noisy. Breakfast it self is not recommended. The coffee is good. I was on a business trip and tested the hotel for the company. I would not recommend the hotel. Another thing I noticed was that the receptionist have a 24 hour shift. It’s end of October now. Not sure how things are in the summer here. Walking distance to center is about 10 min. Not bad at all but 50% of the stores are empty. Oh and the Hotelbar has 3-4 chairs and super uncomfortable....

This is a boutique hotel on quite a busy street in central Ploiesti. It is in a renovated old house, with furniture and decorations in style. While they have done a good job in the hallways and bedrooms, they could have done much better in the bathrooms - old leaking taps, calcium stains from the hard water and average quality decorations. Service was pretty basic, with only one staff attending the front desk, and the breakfast not at all...
