Hotel Fidelitas — Hotel in Sfântu Gheorghe

We were really surprised and delighted by this elegant, luxurious but minimalist hotel near the heart of Sfantu Georghe in Transylvania. We had a fantastic stay commencing with a welcome drink of artisan palinca and culminating in a gorgeous breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh olives, fresh orange juice, and freshly made bacon and fried eggs on local bread toast. Along the way we all had a great night’s sleep on very comfort memory foam mattresses, preceded by a power shower and loads of channels to surf on the big LCD. All in all I would give this place ten out of ten. It’s not ostentatious but quietly chic with all the comforts one hopes for but still rarely finds in Romanian hotels. Fantastic, modern hotel with absolutely everything you could possibly need. I stayed here for over a week during my stay in Transylvania and I can highly recommend it to anyone travelling in this beautiful part of the country. The hotel is extremely well cleaned and maintained by the friendly and helpful management and staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the mod cons and the breakfast is delicious, ( I miss the cheese and ham omelettes already). I have only good words about this hotel. It is well designed and refurbished (and after you find out that it is building from the comunist era, you'll apreciate even more what they've done). Location is also great, in a quiet neighbourhood but close to the center. Probably their biggest strength is the staff, always smiling and helpfull (in fact, I can't remember a hotel where all, but all, the staff is like this). All in all, I would say that this hotel is not just a business, but also a thing made with the heart. I wish them all the success and I will definitely come here whenever I arrive în Sfântu...
