Hotel Park — Hotel in Sfântu Gheorghe

This hotel is in a very nice place and the location is very nice but all this is the only good things in this hotel!||I have booked five rooms for my parents and one for me and my wife for the after Party!||In one week the personal never ever changed the towels of the bathroom and they even cleaned the rooms even after my parents request!||We asked for a little bed for the baby of two months and when we made the check in we didn't find in the room and after our request they bring inside!||The breakfast was very bad every day!||Cold coffee and very poor quality and quantity of food. If you go after 9.00 you don't found nothing and even if you ask to bring something the personal will not bring you nothing and your only choice is to go outside to have breakfast!||The manager of this hotel Kovács István is very funny man! He is a layer of first category and dishonest man! ||He is not able to cooperate and to coordinate his personal!||We organized with him the wedding party and he was very helpful but it was only the first face of him.||We planed all with him, from the time in which we have to make the decoration until the organization of the restaurant for the party and he agreed everything but in the day of the wedding he told us that we didn't make any plans and he put us cause we must to wait to decorate, and we fixed at 10.00 am!||He lay so much time to us. He said we didn't told for the little baby bed, that we didn't give him the plan for the room and for the time of the decoration! He told us that his personal will do the homemade bred but we didn't have!||We made reclamation for everything but It was impossible to try to talk with him because he has always the answer for everything and he continued to tell us that was our fault because we didn't make a good plan!||The service in the party was very bad!||The waiters was very unfriendly and they let the guests to wait a lot for the drinks and for the food and when they call them to ask to bring something they answer in a very bad way!||We must to take care of everything cause they always wanted to cheat us with the drinks!||We are very disappointed with this hotel and we cannot understand how this hotel could have three stars because for the quality and for the service it could have one star!||The most beautiful and happy moment we had in the first evening in which we have eaten there!||The food was ok and we paid 5 euro pro person but the surprise came when we asked for wine, water and coffee....||They didn't say the price of the wine and they haven't brought the wine menu, they have just brought three bottles of one of the expensive wine...||We have payed for 3 bottles of bad wine, 10 coffee and 5 bottles of water: 80 €!!!||Never...

If you know Romania a little bit, you would not be surprised about how things are working there, but if not, I can assure you, you see things, you never believed before. We don't know in which lottery they won the 3 stars and the best western standard. One thing we know concretely, that it was the last time in our live in the Hotel Park Sfantu Gheorghe. Here some facts: The Dust in the room got a record thickness of 5mm after 5 days. The water got never really warm, but after 10 min it was hand warm. But it was not possible to let it run for 10 min, because the canal was blocked, and the Shower was running over. In 5 Days nobody comes to clean the room. Also on the arriving it was not in a good condition. Towels are never changed and also the minibar was not filled up. Two nights it was impossible to sleep, because some celebrations - music was very very loud until 5 in the morning. The breakfast: Coffee never was warm. The coffee - cups did not fit under the coffee - spender (typically romanian planning) The breakfast was day by day very different, some day it took until 10 that the waiter brought some butter and marmalade, sometimes earlier, but all was looking very unhygienic. One day the breakfast-room was full with people, they had a hangover and was drunken and very loud, and nobody did anything against. Yes this is The Park Hotel, but there are also a few positive things to say: the Women on the reception was very friendly, and the breakfast bread was fresh. But...

In the past 8 years, I've stayed in about 7 or 8 hotels in Sfantu Gheorghe (Covasna County). And I find this one to be one of the best. It has the least weird number of weird things about it.||||Rooms are comfortable, reasonable in size, furniture is new enough. They have balconies, the hotel is in a quiet part of the town, but you need to watch out for weddings at the hotel restaurant if you're staying over the weekend.||||The bathroom is average in size and has all the inconveniences of a regular 3 star hotel bathroom: not enough room for all your stuff, towels are pretty coarse, toilletries are of poor quality.||||What you most definitely must avoid is the restaurant. Only ate there twice and both were bad experiences. Lunch menu is poor in choices. Don't try to decide by looking at the menu, just ask the waiter what they have. They only serve one or two dishes per day. Breakfast is not buffet. They just bring you a plate with whatever they have in the kitchen. And everything is fat and oily.||||So I strongly advise you to stay at the Best Western Park Hotel, but to eat somewhere else....
