Tivoli — Hotel in Sovata

The location of the property is excellent. The hotel itself is an old building which needs refurbishment. Very friendly and helpful staff and everything was clean - including bathroom. ||Positive surprise - even though it was a 2 star property, there were amenities: liquid soap, shower gel + clean fresh towels - which I was not expecting. ||||There is place for improvement:||- The room needs refurbishment. - old style TV - which is only in the room, but you cannot enjoy it due the low image quality ||- the breakfast was OK, but I would say the quantity for two adults it is a little bit small. - the breakfast contained: 1 coffee and 1 tee per person, one small plate of cold cuts - for two persons - which was brought by the waiter (6 or 7 slice of three type of salami, two slice of cheese, two pieces of butter and two small packs of jam and a bread basket. Additional you could order omelette, fried eggs or sausage. Everything was OK, but I would consider quite small portions.||||As recommendation for the property: with a proper investment, the property could be a real dream place and not just because...

We have booked two nights and after checking-in we had to renounce. We have booked somewhere else. The room is very, very outdated. Very squeaky beds, sheets with spots on them, stinky bathroom. The toilet paper roll was just sitting on the little shelf above the sink, no WiFi. We were told from the reception that for the hot water we have to wait for 5 minutes. Old and decrepit building, looks nice in pictures but the reality is a bit different. Parking is across the street on a pebble area, good luck carrying your luggage if elderly. Good thing we were given back...
