Hostel Mosaico Alfetta — Hotel in Timișoara

This place is amazing! The owners are a husband and wife team. They are incredible hosts. My first day there, the husband asked what time I would like breakfast, I said 08:00 The next day I over slept as I was catching up on much needed sleep and awoke around 11:00 He still offered to make me breakfast and prepare fresh coffee. Simply incredible hosts! Later, there was a couple from Italy that I observed that had lost a bag in a store somewhere in the city. They reached out to the owner at 23:00, he lives next door and even though he was in bed, he rushed over immediately. He found a website that allowed him to file a claim about the missing bag on the couples behalf and the next morning they received an email stating where to pick up their bag. I have never seen anyone with such a servants heart towards others. These owners have a passion for this hostel and love what they do and it show! I have many friends in Timișoara that will provide a free bed but I will stay here simply to honor them and keep this...

Timisoara is beautiful city and can offer a lot to everyone who is willing to find. One of the best surprises was Hostel Mosaico Alfetta. Situated about 10 minutes from the center of the city (if you walk), in a peaceful and quiet street. The rooms are clean, well heated and commodious. There is a parking lot in a courtyard, enough for all visitors. Wi-fi is excellent in every room. The kitchen is equipped very good and bathrooms are always clean and neat. The owner is a great guy, always willing to cooperate and full of useful information about the hostel, the city or interesting happenings. He makes the best coffee in Timisoara! 🙂 All...

It very well placed, there is a bus stop at 50m with the bus taking to the train station. The city center is also close, the 10 min walk is just what you need in the morning. There is a small City supermarket near the buss station, and a big one 10 min away. I liked the free breakfast. Overall It is a very nice place, but for me maximum rating requires a couple of things which it misses. The lockers are a bit too small, I had to put my 50l backpack diagonally so it would fit. There is no lamp by the bed and there are no bed sheets, only a mattress protector. The kitchen isn't that well...
