Park Villa Boutique - Hotel — Hotel in Timișoara

We had a terrible experience at this place despite its 4-star rating. The room was cold, dark, and had an unpleasant smell. The staff, especially the owner/manager, was rude and unhelpful. The heating didn't work, and the blankets were thin despite cold October nights (2 degrees Celsius). The owner/manager was unprofessional and confrontational, blaming us for opening a window on a warmer day to minimise the smell and bring warmth into the room. Despite our complaints, the owner did not resolve the issue of broken heating. We were scared of his aggressive behaviour and eventually had to leave two days earlier since the owner/manager kicked us out and threatened to throw our things on the street if we did not go immediately. This was the worst place we've ever stayed, and we wouldn't recommend it.

Positives: Hot water in the shower. The location was good, although there are better options nearby.

Negatives: We encountered aggressive, rude, and impolite staff/manager/owner. The heating was non-functional, leading to freezingly cold rooms. The entire building was dark, with extremely poor lighting. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and mould in the corners. Rooms were only cleaned if specifically requested. There was a strange kitchen/cooking odour throughout the whole building, even though only breakfasts were served. The breakfast was average and lacked...

We've stayed here during a short visit as part of a wedding party. All rooms (but one) were occupied by our party.||||The rooms are great and large. Beautifully decorated, high ceilings, and all the amenities that you’d want in a hotel. I've been told that now as the summer season is starting the fridges in the rooms will be stocked as well.||||The breakfast buffet was great. Lots of choice. Bacon and eggs, sausages, a good selection of cheeses, much better than I've seen in other, more expensive hotels.||||The service is nice and somewhat polite I can say. However. If you are a larger party, prepare to keep quite quiet. ||||We had complaints from the neighbors (the hotel is in a residential area, very close to other houses). We weren't that loud. Just a family that got together, talking on the terrace, sometimes louder I could say. We kept our voices low. ||||So stay here if you're on a business trip or a family stay, but I won't recommend it for...
