Pension Bavaria — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

This is a fine place to stay in Brasov. It is close to the train station and Autogara 1& 2, and easily walkable, though finding the route can be difficult, winding past fruit & vegetable markets. The new building has minimal and tasteful décor, is very clean, and mostly quiet except for infrequent, uncontrollable noises outside. There is a secure fence, locked at night, though the area did not appear dangerous. Alexandra at the front desk speaks good English and is very helpful. With her help, we successfully took a city bus from the train station to the center and back. Our intercity bus left from Autogara 4, which also sends/receives buses from the Bucharest airport, only a 10-20 minute (depending on traffic)...

Don’t trust the good reviews at this location because everything is ok when you speak and rent this location but in reality when you arrive and try to enjoy your time the drunk owner will find a way to destroy your time there. Unfortunately I have a lot of friends which had problems and issues at this location from family people to single people how needs only a plece to rest. Last family which was there with their 3-year-old son and try to enjoy their time the owner call the police and report that the music was to loud and at the end the police fine the owner for false statements. In Decembrie 2021 am facut o rezervare pentru o camera cu 3 paturi, pentru 3 nopti(2,3,4 aug.2022) pe siteul Travelminit la Pension Bavaria, Strada Dobrogea 13, Brașov. Am platit toata suma cu card de vacanta in Decembrie. Am primit si un mail de confirmare ca totul e ok. Inainte sa ajungem la pensiune, suna doamna proprietar si zice ca de ce nu am anuntat noi pe ei ca noi avem o rezervare la pensiune. Ca ei nu mai au camera normala pentru 3 persoane pe care am rezervat si am platit anterior, ca sa dat la altcineva. Si ca ei nu au verificat pe siteul Travelminit ce fel de rezervari au, etc etc. In fine a zis ca putem sa mergem, ca rezolva problema cumva. Cand ajungem la pensiune doamna proprietar mai cere 120 de lei in plus pentru ca noi am primit un "altfel" de camera decat am rezervat-o si asta e mai buna, scumpa. Si zice ca oricum rezervarea noastra din Decembrie 2021 nu este fair, ca preturile sa dublat, etc etc. Nu am inteles care este legatura intre o rezervare facuta si platita anterior cu un pret si preturile de acuma :)). Am platit suma pe care a cerut-o 120 de lei, dar am stiut ca ceea ce a facut doamna nu este ok. Am sunat la Travelminit ca sa cer ajutor, ei au obligat pe doamna proprietar sa trimita bani inapoi pentru ca ceea ce a facut e ilegal. Din fericire cu ajutorul Travelminitului am primit cele 120 de lei inapoi. In afara de schema doamnei, cazarea a fost ok, curat, am avut si loc de parcare in curte, magazine, malluri sunt aprope.
