Went there to ask about booking the restaurant for an event. After inquiring, we were told to wait a little bit. 45 minutes later, no one bothered to give us insight in that regard. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the terrace and ordered some drinks. The umbrella was closed and it started raining. Went inside to ask about opening the umbrella. Was told: "it's not possible right now, a bit later" (later when? when the rain stops?). Eventually, someone came to open it for us. The waiter remarked: " You know, we have sits indoors too". Even though the terrace was open, mind you. Overall, the staff acted like they were somehow forced to bear with our presence in their home and serve us for free or something similar. Would not recommend because of the terrible service. No matter the food or beverage, nothing is enjoyable when being treated with passive-aggressive hostility. Wonderful food and charming atmosphere! I wanted a restaurant fairly close to the train station that had good reviews and found Romantik lived up to those reviews in all respects. It still being summer weather, I enjoyed the outside dining but could see that the inside was also charming. Romantic restaurant is placed a bit away from the many tourists who are in Brasov, not even many locals know about this restaurant. I am eating here occasionally once or twice a month for over 8 years now. With the food they never disappoint, the prices are fair and definitely not overpriced and the atmosphere is “chill & relax”.
