We stayed in the hostel for 3 days. It is quite out of the way though being close to the metro means that you can travel within 20 mins to the historic centre. The hostel is truly a tiny hostel being administered by students/long term hostel users. Thus being so, it is tidy but more can be done about the cleanliness especially on the room. There is also flooding about in the shower which can be mucky to use especially at peak time. There is no reception, no house rulles, nothing reminding u r in a hostel. Administrators are always around, usually like everyone else, by the big dinning table, so while u eat your breakfast or dinner they eat it too. And while they do so they are willing to give u reccomendation of where to go and what to do. Or just have a friendly chat in russian or english.||This is basically like visiting friends abroad!||We had fantastic 3 days with Viera, Kim, Dimitriey and others.||We highly recommend...

There's really friendly atmosphere. Communicating with Sasha and Julia (the owners of Gogol-Mogol) you feel some special St. Petersburg culture!||About rooms etc. The design is really nice and simple. Big rooms without unnecessary stuff - just bads, a table and small lockers. A spacious dinning room with a big table, where the guests usually chat eating their breakfast. Two shower baths are very clean.||If you're travelling and want to stop somewhere in Petersburg, choose...
