I visited the hotel perhaps more than 4 times and it was remarked as my top list hotels in the area , however my recent stay on 14th of july 2025, was remarkably disappointing, from the time of check in which took long time and we were extremely tired of traveling, the rooms wasnt at all like what i selected and choosed , they told me you can choose and made me select!! Anyhow i went with the flow and selected , the room had a strong unbearable smell, i tried to call the reception or housekeeping or any , however no one was answering at all , the service is really bad i had to go down many times to get what i needed from them , what a shame for such hotel that is 5 stars! I didn’t feel any luxury during my stay , the experience was shameful since i suggested the place strongly to my friends and family and they were exited! Unfortunately it turned so bad to even when i call the front desk and they are not answering i went down and told them about that multiple times i tried to reach them but they are not responding, the lady was rude telling me maybe there’s something wrong about the telephone, mind you i can hear in the reception the phone is ringing no one is picking up ! Anyhow i would add more to that , the spa experience was bad we had visited the adult pool however it got crowded with kids! and we have informed the staff however they didnt do anything about it we had to leave but there was a man in the spa reception offered us a pool experience however he wasn’t really genuine with it, it was like he was forced to do it ,
The restaurant got me speechless, from the moment we entered we were handled rudely from a filipino waitress she had immediately standed upfront us guiding us to an isolated room with dine in tables ! Informing us that the tables at the corner are fully occupied however we had witnessed many tables available! It felt like the waitress discriminated us since we have entered and wanted that tables to be given to another guest which she liked ! How shameful,
Anyhow we started eating and while my mom was talking to me that the tea served was in glass not in a pot , the waitress had interrupted us rudely saying if you want you could just ask!!!!!!! And that the time I responded to her that okay now we are asking can you please bring it ? Then she was staring at me rolled her eyes on us and left???
Anytime we would call them the 2 waitresses while they are near us and hearing us they would ignore us , only one waiter which was really a great waiter i forgot his name but he was the only waiter there i believe from kashmir he was great and hospitable and had a keen sense of hospitality unlike the 2 philipino ladies ,
I had informed the manger about the filipino waitress he told me that he will take action on regards , However while the departure of us from the restaurant the 2 filipino waitresses were staring at us rudely ,, Not a single star for my experience there horrible in all aspects
I had to write here my feedback since i took the number of the manager on duty they had on the wall in the reception area , I dialed to inform the manager on my feedback for improvement however the one who answered informed me that the manager wasn’t there and informed me that the manager will call me back and reach me soon , until this day he haven’t contacted me ! Thats from it self tells me alot about.
What a shame that many departments have failed to provide us even a basic...
Read moreBeautifully constructed hotel but disappointing service and very unhygienic.
I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel, and while the property itself is absolutely stunning, the overall service was not what I expected from a hotel of this caliber.
I had specifically booked a room with a city view, but the room I was initially assigned had no view at all. After raising the issue, I was moved to a new room. Unfortunately, this one came with dirty sheets with sand-like dirt on bed, which was incredibly off-putting. When the housekeeper arrived to change them, instead of promptly resolving the situation, he was incredibly annoying. He kept saying the sheets are not dirty after removing the dirty sheets and putting them aside(good thing I clicked a pic as a proof to post), and then i showed him and he was like ‘oh today was not my day to work.’ Then he made one bed and argued that the other bed “looked fine from the top” and didn’t need changing. On top of that, he wouldn’t leave the room until I agreed to write a positive review about him on TripAdvisor. This was not only unprofessional but also felt like an attempt to manipulate my feedback. The breakfast area, while offering good food, was a different story. Many of the tables were sticky, and I found a dirty knife at my table. To make matters worse, the glass at my seat hadn’t been replaced after the last guest had left. If there had been no water left in the glass, I wouldn’t have realized it had been used. It was also concerning to see the staff cleaning tables only with a cloth, leaving the cutlery on the table unless it had been used. Hygiene should be a priority, especially in a restaurant where many guests are seated.
The cleanliness issues extended beyond the tables. The fork and knife were placed flat on the table without any napkin or tissue underneath, which felt a bit unhygienic. Additionally, the floor of the restaurant was dusty and not as clean as I would expect in a high-end establishment.
While the hotel itself is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious, the service and cleanliness need a serious overhaul. It’s disappointing to see such a stunning property falter in basic hygiene and customer service. I truly hope they can address...
