Rona Hotel — Hotel in Eastern Province

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it did not meet expectations, especially considering the high price. For the amount charged, the facilities and overall service fall short, making it a poor value for money. I would not recommend this hotel, particularly for travelers looking for a budget-friendly and comfortable short stay.

While the reception team was fairly welcoming and maintained a decent attitude, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the behavior of other staff, especially the service boy. He acted as if he was in charge, showing no interest in assisting guests. His unprofessional behavior, including openly using thambak (a form of chewing tobacco similar to cigarettes), was not only off-putting but also unhygienic. He made us feel unwelcome, as if we were bothering him by staying there – it truly felt like he was doing us a favor, rather than providing service.

On a more positive note, there is parking available in front of the hotel, which is convenient for those traveling by car. The hotel also provides wheelchair access, which is a thoughtful and necessary feature for guests with mobility issues. However, these few positives are not enough to outweigh the negatives.

The WiFi, which is an essential amenity for most travelers, was unreliable and slow. In today’s digital age, poor internet connectivity is a major inconvenience, especially for business travelers or those needing to stay connected during their trip.

In conclusion, the hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The poor service attitude, especially from support staff, and subpar facilities make it an unsuitable choice for a comfortable and pleasant stay. I recommend looking for cheaper and better-reviewed alternatives in the area for...

اخذت جناح جونيور من ١٠ الى ١٥ يونيو ٢٠٢٥م الليله كانت ب ١٧١ ريال غير شامل الافطار … وتقييمي كالتالي:

أشياء حبيتها: • المكان رائع وهادئ جدًا، مثالي للاسترخاء والراحة. • أخذنا جناح جونيور وكان واسع جدًا، فيه صالة مريحة بكنب ممتاز وتلفزيون سمارت. • الطاولة الدائرية مع الكرسيين كانت مناسبة للعمل أو الأكل. • الكنب مريح جدًا، وفيه كنب سنقل يضيف لمسة عملية للجلوس أو حتى الاسترخاء. • السرير كينغ سايز ومريح، والنوم عليه كان مريح جدًا. • وجود ثلاجة وهيتر وآلة قهوة أضاف لمسة راحة واكتمال للتجربة. • التكييف ممتاز وبارد، وكان الجو العام مريح ومرتب. • طلبت غطاء زيادة وتم توفيره بسرعة. • أحب أشكر موظفة الاستقبال روان في فترة الصباح، وعلي في فترة الليل، تعاملهم كان احترافي جدًا. • كذلك شكر خاص لعامل نقل الشنط شفيق، وباقي موظفي الاستقبال اللي كانوا لطيفين جدًا حتى لو ما عرفت أسماءهم. • الموقع مميز جدًا: أقل من ٥ دقائق مشي لمجمع الراشد، وقريب جدًا من المطاعم والكافيهات. • ميني ماركت موديرن قريب جدًا (أقل من دقيقة مشي) ويحتوي على كل الأساسيات. • الكورنيش والمطاعم الرئيسية على بعد حوالي ١٠ دقائق بالسيارة. • القيمة مقابل المال ممتازة جدًا مقارنة بالخدمات والموقع والمستوى العام.

بشكل عام، التجربة كانت ممتازة جدًا وبإذن الله أكرر الزيارة، خصوصًا مع هذا الموقع والخدمة والسعر المنافس.

الشي اللي يحتاج تركيز من ادارة الفندق هو: السرير فيه صرير بسيط عند الحركة، ما كان مزعج بشكل كبير، لكن يفضل الانتباه له لأنه أحيانًا يخلي النوم أقل راحة.

The place is wonderful and very quiet — perfect for relaxation and comfort. • We booked a Junior Suite, and it was very spacious. It included a comfortable lounge area with excellent sofas and a smart TV. • The round table with two chairs was ideal for both working and dining. • The seating was very comfortable, and there was a single sofa, which added convenience for relaxing or accommodating an extra person. • The king-size bed was very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. • The suite included a fridge, heater, and coffee machine — great for convenience and comfort. • The air conditioning was excellent — cold and effective. The overall atmosphere was calm and well-organized. • I requested an extra blanket, and it was delivered quickly. • Special thanks to the morning front desk staff member Rawan, and to Ali at night — both were highly professional. • Also, a big thanks to the bellman Shafiq, and all the reception staff who were very friendly, even if I didn’t catch all their names. • The location is outstanding: Less than 5 minutes’ walk to Al Rashid Mall, and within the same distance to various restaurants and cafes. • There’s a Modern Mini Market less than a minute’s walk away that has everything you need. • The Corniche and main restaurants are just about 10 minutes away by car. • The value for money is excellent considering the quality of service, location, and overall experience.

The bed makes a slight creaking sound when you move. It’s not very disturbing, but it does slightly affect the comfort of sleep. It would be great if this could be fixed.
