I spent 4 nights at Makarem Mina hotel in Mekkah during this month, april 2025. When I first arrived, I was welcomed in warmth by the officer and he helped me bring my luggage to my room. As it was my solo trip, I felt comfort living alone in my room. I felt no worry at all. The room was so clean provided me with long desk and some armed chairs, the toilet was also clean, there were even 2 sinks, one for the regular use, and another one for taking wudhu. In the room, there were also some tea, coffee, and some bottles of water along with the kettle. The room was also provided with a small fridge, a medium flat TV screen, a large wardrobe with some hangers inside. The AC was also working so great however, since I couldn't stand with the cold air, sometimes I turned it off. The shuttle bus was so helpful, we could just wait in the lobby and it would bring us to the haram site. Mostly the shuttle bus followed the schedule, yet there was time when it was late maybe because it was at 3.30 am from Haram to the hotel, so I supposed the driver was totally tired and felt asleep. I've given a constructive feedback to the hotel manager about this in order to improve and the manager was really helpful receiving my feedback and asked what else they should provide in the future to enhance their service for the guests, and I think that's one of the positive point of this hotel which they hear us. In the future, I will stay here again if I go to Mekkah in Sha Allah. Thank you Makarem Mina Hotel and...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, there were no basic bathroom supplies—no soap, shampoo, toilet paper, or towels. I stayed for five days and asked the reception multiple times every day for towels, yet they repeatedly assured me that someone would bring them, but no one ever did. Despite seeing housekeeping staff cleaning other rooms, they never came to mine. ||||The same issue happened with my brother and sister, who stayed in separate rooms. They also had no towels or toiletries and were given the same empty promises. My sister, frustrated with the lack of service, firmly demanded that her room be cleaned. The staff told her someone would take care of it, but when she returned hours later, she found her door left wide open. Her wallet, passport, and money were inside—fortunately, nothing was stolen, but it was completely unacceptable for the hotel to leave a guest’s room unsecured. ||||While the staff was polite, the service was non-existent. I wish they had told me upfront to bring my own towels instead of misleading me every day. If I had known, I would have happily bought my own supplies instead of relying on empty promises. Unfortunately, the lack of basic amenities, poor housekeeping, and failure to follow through made this stay incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Or buy your own toiletries and towels...
Read moreIn July 2025, my family and I stayed at this hotel for around three weeks. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed at! The management and hotel service was excellent, the nicest people. Whenever we would have questions or concerns, the reception and hotel team would always take them to account. Room service was amazing, they would always make sure that you are stocked up with the room service essentials, like daily water bottles, coffee/teabags, and toiletries. We are a family of six and so we booked two rooms, the rooms were clean and great sizes! The room had a medium sized TV screen, a small fridge, a kettle, and cups. They have a private bus dedicated to the hotel that has scheduled timings that will pick you up right in front of the hotel to the Haram, and vice versa. The hotel was close to some nice restaurants, mosques, and a supermarket, which was very useful. Overall my family and I really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank You...
