Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh — Hotel in Riyadh Region

2/5 at max. 1- Deceptive & altered photos. The hotel is very old, outdated furniture and wasn’t renovated anytime soon. I’d guess at least 10-15 yrs ago. Some furniture pieces are fatigued or exhausted. 2- Defensive and aggressive tone from multiple employees. 3- Pay upfront policy not in agreement with hotel conventions. When I checked in, I called to ask for kids bed to which they said we will only give you one despite having two kids and that I called specifically a week earlier to confirm this request to which the receptionist back then said we will give you beds for the kids. On my first day I informed the breakfast buffet guy that my family will come later so please put it on the room account (mine was bf included). When my family came, another guys insisted they pay first and he aggressively did not allow them to enter until they pay first. When I asked him a day later, he also responded defensively that he doesn’t have access to do it. (why should the customer have to care about access and roles?)

When I requested a pressing service for my suit (overly priced 51 SR for 3 pcs). They employee requested I pay upon reception with NO possibility to bill it with check out. When I complained about the previous two employees to the receptionist, he argued that it’s their policy since they don’t have my credit info to secure their money ! Which is very odd to come from a 5 star hotel from which customers come with high expectations willing to pay extra $ for a better service and better furniture. 4- Parking spaces are too tight and limited. I had to park my car outside in narrow dark alley most of the stay. 5- Multiple employees are not professional dressed (sport attire or lousy unpressed hotel uniform)

I would definitely prefer trying 2 or 3 starts over...
