Disappointing Experience at Shalimar Restaurant
I recently visited Shalimar Restaurant on 13/08/2024 with high expectations, but unfortunately, the staff behavior was completely unacceptable. The service was slow, and our server seemed disinterested and unfriendly.
Specifically, I experienced:
Rude and dismissive attitude from our server when we asked for menu recommendations Long delays in taking our orders and serving our food Inattentive service, with empty glasses and plates left unattended When I politely asked for the check, the server rolled their eyes and took an excessive amount of time to bring it

Recently, I visited Shalimar restaurant with a friend to try their breakfast offerings ๐ณ. We ordered a variety of dishes, including poori with saag, masala dosa, and bheja fry with roti ๐.
๐ The food tasted average, but unfortunately, the bheja ๐ง dry dish was the worst of all ๐. It wasn't cooked perfectly, which was a disappointment ๐ค.

Shocking customer service.
We ordered Family sized mutton biryani and mirchi ka salan (extra). Keep in mind we order from them regularly, and KNOW how the food tastes.
The mutton biryani was not cooked properly, the masala still had rawness - could tell from taste and colour. But what made it worse was the mutton was tough! It was chewy and was VERY difficult to eat. Usually its tender and flavourful.
We also asked for extra mirchi ka saalan, which we paid for, but were sent something completely different. The mirchi ka saalan that comes as standard was literally half the small tub.
What made everything worse than it already was - the customer service.
When we contacted them to tell them the problems, they asked for pictures. We sent pictures and videos. They accused us of eating everything and then complaining, except we sent him a video replying to him showing him the full biryani, bar what we took out to eat!
We will never order from them again, and we will warn others about these people. Save your money and order from...
