Khana Khazana Restaurant — Restaurant in Riyadh Region

If you’re into South Asian cuisine, you’ve definitely heard of Khana Khazana. Over the weekend I had the pleasure of being invited to the place and trying out their food, today I’ll be talking about what Khana Khanaza has to offer.

The recent area expansion has allowed them to extend their family seating area. The designated seating areas are nice and clean, along with a dining hall that you can book for up to 16-18 people for small scale parties or meetings.

Khana Khazana has been around a while and I’m pretty sure a lot of, if not every, south asian has heard about it in one way or another, and with good reason! Khana Khazana has some of the most vibrant dishes that’ll make your mouth water from just a look! The aroma of the spices fills the air just as you enter, even if you’re not hungry you’re going to want to give it a taste to see what it’s like and there’s an abundance of different dishes for you to choose from, there’s seriously so much variety, and that too at an affordable price!

For the appetisers we were served with Hot and sour soup which was a bit too spicy in my opinion, other restaurants that I’ve tried do have the same soup but it’s never as spicy but if that sounds good to you then go for it. For the Main Course we were served with Fish 828, Chicken Kolapori(my personal favorite), Lemon Chicken, Cashew Chicken, A Mix Grill Platter, Mutton Matka, Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani along with a few different types of nans. Overall it was really really good, but if you’re asking me what ones I’d recommend it’d have to be Chicken Kolapori and Fish 828, those were really delicious.

Every good meal ends with some dessert! And we were served with a Fruit Custard and Loki/Kaddu ka Halwa, and I’ve got to say I’ve never been a fan of that type of Halwa but the way they made this was really good! The Fruit Custard was more on the sweeter side, more than usual. It would’ve been great if they toned the sweetness down a little.

Overall I had a great time and I’m really looking forward to going back there and I’d definitely recommend you check it out. Have you ever had any food from there? What do you think? Let me know!

I recently dined at Khana Khazana at Hara Riyadh in Family Section and feel compelled to share my feedback regarding my experience. While I am not satisfied with the ambiance and service provided, I must express my disappointment with the taste and hygiene standards observed during my visit.

Firstly, I found the taste of the dishes served to be below par. Looks like a Non-Hyderabadi cook is preparing Hyderabadi dishes, Mutton Biryani was a total flop, this is supposed to be there flagship item and favourite, unfortunately a very bad experience especially the bad Mutton, Chicken starters were over coloured red.

Furthermore, I was concerned about the hygiene practices observed at the restaurant. Throughout my meal, I noticed several instances of unclean tables, stained utensils, and questionable sanitation in the dining area. These lapses in cleanliness raised doubts about the overall hygiene standards maintained by the restaurant.

As someone who values both taste and hygiene when dining out, I was disappointed by the shortcomings observed at Khana Khazana Restaurant. I urge the management to take immediate action to address these issues and prioritize the maintenance of high cleanliness and taste standards.

In the spirit of constructive feedback, I recommend conducting thorough training sessions for the kitchen and serving staff on hygiene protocols and food preparation techniques. Additionally, regular inspections and audits should be implemented to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant.

I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously, and proactive measures will be taken to rectify the shortcomings highlighted. I look forward to seeing improvements during my future visits to Khana...

Khana Khazana is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent hospitality. The ambiance is delightful, providing a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.

The menu at Khana Khazana is a true culinary journey. Each dish is a work of art, bursting with authentic flavors and carefully selected ingredients. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just looking to explore new tastes, this restaurant has something to satisfy every palate.

The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who are eager to guide you through the menu and make sure your dining preferences are catered to. Our server was friendly and well-versed in the dishes, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Now, let's talk about the food! Each dish we ordered was a revelation, and it was evident that the chefs put their heart and soul into creating these culinary masterpieces. From the tender and flavorful curries to the perfectly cooked tandoori items, every bite was a taste sensation.

In addition to the outstanding main courses, the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. The traditional Indian sweets were divine, and we couldn't resist ordering some extras to take home with us.

Overall, Khana Khazana is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who appreciates genuine Indian cuisine. The combination of exceptional food, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance makes this place stand out from the rest. We'll definitely be returning for more delightful dining experiences...
