I have been a regular customer of Food Corner since their opening, tried almost each and every specialitiy of theirs, and especially admired them for their taste⦠But I think from today, I will not appreciate them anymore for the following reasons:
The QUANTITY of their portion of dishes has become lower. I am attaching one of the photos for reference (meaning that this has happened multiple times) of dishes where the oil is more than the gravey and the box contains lesser portion than the half of the box. The quantity of beef and daal has become lesser as well. I travel almost for half an hour (one way) to the restaurant and this happens once I come back home to expecting that the feedbacks given for the sake of problems to get resolved (are not actually).
Their service has become terrible. Sometimes, a reservation call before going to pickup the order doesnāt work as I call them for pickup and they provide me am estimated time; where most of the times they exceed the time limit. Sometimes when the order is ready for pickup, I have to double check whether something is missing because it has happened with me multiple times where some items become missing. Waiters has to be reminded twice if required anything. They have hired waiters who sometimes does not understand the dishes from their menu.
EXTRAS for customers on sides from this restaurant is not expected at all. Whenever I ask them for extra chutneys, their expression would ruin your expectations from them and they would say āeg. yeh chargay kay saath tou siraf 2 chutneys aati hain bsā. PS: I have insisted to pay them for their chutney but they would still not compromise with customers⦠this is UNETHICAL.. They expect us to pay in full in receiving lesser quantity for food (for which I have personally called them āmultiple timesā after reaching home to let them know that what they have done) and them offering us the...

Service: The service was noticeably inefficient. The staff took our order but didnāt return to check on us or ask if we needed anything else. I specifically requested a cold drink from one of the staff members, which was never delivered. Ironically, someone came to ask what I needed only after I had finished my mealābut even then, the drink was not provided. Additionally, there was a delay in bringing the bill to the table, and I ended up going downstairs to pay at the counter myself.
Ambience: The atmosphere was extremely chaotic. It wasnāt just the children running around and playingāthough that in itself is disruptiveābut even the adults were speaking loudly and discussing personal family matters as if they were in their own living room. It honestly felt like attending a Dawat-e-Waleemaāthe only difference being that I paid for my food. When I raised this concern with the staff, I was informed that it was the ownerās family and that they could only request them to move to another table, which didnāt happen.
Overall: While the food may have been decent, the poor service and disruptive environment made it a disappointing experience. Dining out should be relaxing, but this felt far from it. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve both staff training and the...
