We arrived at the Hotel after a long journey of 8 hours driving and received our rooms at the annex of the complex.||As we entered this building there was a bad smell of the cheap plastic carpet in the corridors. But this smell was a sea breeze compared with the smell of room 20 which is on ground floor. Just add to the smell of the corridor the smell of moldiness and the canalisation system and you will have the whole picture. It was stinking. I thought to open the window for some fresh air but it faced the road, everybody with a slight jump could enter the room.||I went to the Reception and asked for a room change but it was not possible.they said, as the Hotel was fully booked. I told them that for the first night I could share the room of my colleague and get another room the next day. The answer was "No, we do not change rooms, it is the Hotel's policy". I was shocked. I asked him how did he expect me to sleep for 4 nights in a room that stinks. The answer of the guy behind the desk was: "with the money that you pay, what do you expect to get?" I could not beleive my ears. I kept insisting to get another room and the straw that broke the camel was his statement: "I cannot do anything more, if you want, I can call the police to help you. ||Yes, all this happened in PRESTIGE HOTEL on 17/2/2016 at 19:00||Of course we decided to leave this place immediately, one hour fight for something which is self understood after a long journey was too much.||When we returned to the Reception to leave our keys the owner was waiting for us, he just said how sorry he was and that he was not going to charge us anything. Of course when we returned home we found our Bank accounts charged with one night.||Needles to say that there was no help from the Hotel to find another accomodation, we had to do it ourselves.||When we returned, I wrote an e-mail to the Hotel Manager but I never received an answer.||PS. If you visit the web site of HOTEL PRESTIGE they do not have pictures of the annex....
Read moreI have spent a night at Prestige and it as not satisfying at all.||The troubles started from the very beginning. I have made an internet reservation, for which i received a confirmation for 45€/night for a double bed room. It was really easy, at least so it seemed. First, the location of the hotel is so bad, that i could barely find it. Even with GPS, i was cruising around to find a correct approach to hotel. Awful! It was like a labyrinth. After arrival, the receptionist was looking at me surprised, stating that i do not have a reservation! I insisted to check again, informing her about the way the reservation was done and then she finally found my name on her list, but....oh, surprise, the price is not 45€ anymore, it's 65!!! I was stunned, however, as i was hurry to a wedding, i had no other choice but to accept.||The room itself was decent, however, the shower certainly improved my circulation. The hot and cold water were changing every 30 seconds. Luckily i was not burned.||The sleep and the breakfast were good.||At the check out, there was again a problem, as the "polite" lady at the desk said that that their computer system is down, so i was waiting quite a while for the bill.||I'm happy to say that she did not say "Goodbye,...
Read moreArrived late in the night, I just used the hotel for a short stay. ||||Hotel is located just near the new bridge over the river, not easy to be seen, but, now, easy to be reached. A few football grounds around it. Parking is protected by closed barriers and man in the night.||||Check-in was quick, while check out took a while since the girl was new.||||Slept in a very big room, with a comfortable bed. A big balcony was available, but I did not use it. WIFI ok, with a good coverage. Bathroom was big, but old style, with some broken towel racks and low quality towels and soaps. I'm sure the hotel saw better ages, but the ratio quality/price was interesting for being in Belgrad.||||I had no time for breakfast in the morning, so I can't comment it. Only problem: due to the river, the area is full of mosquitos, so take some protection with you...
