We came from abroad in order to book a few tables for our Daughter's christening. We've spoken to a lady who was supposed to be the restaurant's manager. The experience was was quite disappointing as the lady wasn't welcoming enough and we've been told to go online and book our table that way. This was a little bit shocking considering we said we came from abroad and were with our baby that nigh. We felt that she was rushing and on our insisting took us to a lovely gentlemen who gave us all the necessary information. The gentleman went beyond our expectations and explained everything in detail. I'm sad I don't know his name but he is the manager for the outdoor Topciderac restaurant/area. We are truly sad he will be leaving this place and won't be there to serve us. After our unsuccessful attempt to book the table, we've been given the manager's assistant number to call and book the table. First, I sent and email but there wasn't response for two days. After that I called but the assistant cut me off and sent me a text to message her?! I replied that I've been trying to book tables for ages and that I've sent an email. She asked when was the email sent and I replied that it was a few days ago. After a few hours, I've finally got my booking confirmation. Summary: this poor service should be improved and the guests should be treated with more respect. The restaurant is lovely in a great location, however, it's quite sad that the management is not trained enough to deal with the most simple enquiries. Food is just OK from my opinion, as I'm vegetarian and I had to eat just a basic food - grilled mushrooms and mixed vegetables. I expected that restaurant with that reputation offers much better choice. Prices are little higher for lunch, but for breakfast are average. Free parking is nearby. Update of May, 2024: I was there at wedding, organisation was perfect, food of greatest choice (but still only few vegetarian). I don’t know if music band was exclusive for this place or you can choose, but it was terrible. Only people without music sense can enjoy this genre mix, bad songs and bad sound quality. Prvi utisak je pokvario čitav doživljaj. Iako smo imali rezervaciju, na ulazu na parking nas je sačekala "rampa" i čuvar parkinga koji nas je obavestio da ne može da nas pusti jer je parking rezervisan za goste svadbe i da potražimo mesto na "donjem" parkingu. Na tom parkingu nije bilo mesta pa sam pozvao broj za rezervacije gde mi je zaposlena rekla da će da proveri o čemu se radi i da bi trebalo da nas puste na parking. Međutim, nazvala me posle minut i rekla da ne može ništa da uradi, parking je rezervisan za goste svadbe koja se organizuje u restoranu. Ishod svega je bio da su naši gosti parkirali kod Miloševog konaka i da su pešačili do Topčiderca sa malom decom. Ponovo sam kontaktirao službu rezervacija i njihovo objašnjenje je bilo da restoran ne vrši uslugu rezervisanja parking mesta, sem kada je svadba u pitanju i da im je žao što nismo našli parking blizu restorana i da nemaju često ovakvu situaciju. Ne govore informacije za parking mesta prilikom rezervisanja, osim kada gosti za to pitaju. Na sajtu u opisu restorana piše i sledeće "Da bi naši gosti bezbrižno boravili kod nas, obezbedili smo preko 200 parking mesta nadomak restorana." Ne znam zašto bih ja kao gost trebalo nešto da pitam. Nigde nije istaknuto da su gosti svadbe višeg prioriteta, a ostali manje bitni. Moram napomenuti da sam rezervaciju potvrdio i dan pre događaja jer su me oni zvali. Očigledno je da su znali da će biti popunjeni zbog velikog broja rezervacija, ali nisu našli za shodno da upozore goste da može da postoji problem sa parkingom. Restoran na tom mestu bez parkinga je besmislen za većinu gostiju. Da smo imali informaciju o zauzetosti, sigurno ne bismo maltretirali svoje goste, već bi događaj organizovali na drugom mestu. Ja razumem da može da dođe do problema zbog velikog broja gostiju, ali za neposlovnost nemam razumevanja.
