Ртањ — Hotel in Raska Municipality

I came from the US to ski here after years of going to other ski resorts. When I was a kid we used to stay at Rtanj every year. It was a run down place, but it had some charm. I stopped by with my friends yesterday to have dinner at the newly renovated Odzaklija. We were greeted by the long restroom line stretching to the entrance door. We squeezed through the line and entered the hectic and overcrowded Odzaklija. We got the last spot, and ordered a hearty dinner. The food was good, but when we asked for coffee, tea and dessert, they told us they had none. We were told we have to go outside to get coffee and donuts. After asking if we can bring the dessert inside, the server, wanting to free the table, told us to go outside to have our dessert out in the cold. After another server completely ignored me both times he passed by, we finished our meal while another group was standing over our heads waiting for us to vacate the table. Not to mention that my friend had to put her jacket back on because of the constant draught in the dining room. Overall, the experience was dreadful and the service was terrible. The place is too small for that many guests and the servers make you feel unwelcome. Nobody wants to have dinner at one place, then get dessert at the second place, then get coffee at the third place out in the snow. I understand that you guys need to make the most out of the season, but customer satisfaction shouldn’t suffer because of that. Exclusive wines and dry aged steaks can’t hide poor managment. Very nice place. Nice and clean room, nice atmosphere in the hotel. Good staff at reception desk (Violeta) and in restaurant (Vlada). |Location is excellent, 20 m from the ski slope Mali Karaman. |This year we do note have any bad remark. Last year we appeal on too much noise from the live music performing at the hotel, this year there were no issues regarding music at least in our room which was on the 2.nd floor. |Everything was really nice. Meals were very good. Rooms nice and clean (we were in standard room).|Only bad experience was during buying of ski pass...guests should take extra care not to be fooled regarding money.
