Salaš Kopaonik — Restaurant in Raska Municipality

After a long journey of 9 hours, we stayed right next to this restaurant that attracted you because of the sunny terrace and the music. We wanted to sit on the terrace but since it was Saturday 17.02.2024 everything was busy, but luckily a family like us with 2 children beckoned to tell us that they were asking for the bill and we could stay...we thought luck fell upon us not knowing the humiliating way we were about to be put. The waiter told us that the table would be cleaned immediately and we could sit...this after we had waited 20 minutes on our feet until the payment was made/the table was cleared/cleaned, etc. We were waiting for 3 more people having already brought 3 chairs. This is where the scandalous mess begins...another waiter comes and seeing that we are only 4 people (the 3 people have not yet appeared) he tells us that the table is reserved for 7 people and I replied that I know it is for us...then the shift manager comes, a blonde young lady in a long sweater with an uneducated and totally inappropriate behavior for a service employee who tells us that it is not our table but is reserved for two ladies and a child (what do you see, they were not 7) I said that it is a mistake and came back with the two ladies on their heads raising their voices like in the market and told a lying story just to get us off the table to benefit them. It's so scandalous that from the first day of my stay something like this happened to me, simply a humiliation...I knew it was discrimination because we are not of the same nationality. The waiter came after us and told us that he apologizes for the injustice done and that he can serve us inside where there are seats available. The lack of professionalism of the manager is unacceptable, such a man has no business in a nice place like yours. Tasty food, 1st grade service, organization is disastrous and humiliating for tourists who leave their country to bring you money in...

I would not decrease overall rating for the restaurant. The food is really good, we had lunch two times. The portions are big and vegetables are fresh and tasty.

What can be improved - service. During the first day we were waiting for someone for 5-7 minutes, just to bring the menu. Later the waiter was able to provide a good service and we put tips for him.

Next day, the waiter brought the menu faster, but only 1 menu for 2 person, that’s weird. Plus, he brought two portions of bread instead of one. For pasta brought spoon, not the fork and was not able to put goulash on the table without let it go out of the plate.

Overall, the food is really tasty, so my big thanks to the cookers and chef. Please try to improve the service and it would be one of the best restaurants in...

Second time visit here and the waiters are always doing there best to find you a table like in our case: without reservation. It worked well so far. The food is mainly traditional and a good place to have lunch with family. Although people also do smoke here, it is not as bad as Dolly Bell. The air-conditioning works well so you can enjoy your lunch here. I had beans soup (pasulj) and unfortunately had some stomach ache shortly after. Last time when I was here I had pasta and it was delicious. Nice ambiance, kind personnel def. a place to comeback for me...
