Hotel ARTIN — Hotel in Bardejov

Hotel is nice, very good located, with enough parking spaces.||||Hotel staff is very friendly.||||Hotel is non-smoking, but perhaps in the past it was possible to smoke there, because in the corridor it smells a bit.||||Rooms are small, but for business trip o.k. Space for toilet in bathroom is very small. Positive was, that hot water was available in few seconds and the pressure of water from shower was very good. ||||Beds are a bit older, sometimes noisy, but sleeping was quite good.||||||Breakfast all days the same (menu with 6 - 7 choices), but if you are there only for 2 - 3 days, it's o.k.||||Hotel is few minutes from historical centre or from some supermarkets, this is really perfect.||||Problem was, that there is no air condition in the room and no protection against mosquitos on windows. And, when window is opened, you can hear noise from the restaurant below. For me o.k., for families with small children...

Huge disappointment. We had booked one single and one double room but, when we arrived during a heat wave, we discovered there were no fans in the rooms. It was way too hot for us to stay. The single did stay but the two of us did not. We could not be in the room due to the lack of breeze and extreme heat. The receptionist called several hotels for us and finally found one but they only had one room. So, the two of us left for a place with a fan. The individual that stayed did not arrive back until after midnight so things had cooled a bit for sleep by then, thankfully. He did have a nice breakfast that was an extra charge. The rooms looked nice, just not comfortable...

I stayed at the Hotel Artin for two nights in July, 2015. There were two single beds, a bathroom, a refrigerator, a TV and a telephone. My room was located at the second floor where wi-fi signal was not working well. However, I managed to maintain internet connection by utilizing wi-fi signal for the first floor from my room.
