Hotel Karpatia — Hotel in Humenné

I would give this hotel 2 stars. We exchanged a couple of rooms because one had mold, the other was very dirty and had a tiny bathroom. The last had holes on the bed sheets and duvet covers. The showers were horrible. Expect a small lake in the bathroom if you decide to take a shower. Probably even having half the carpet in the room wet from your shower (there is no water guard on the shower). I understand we were there during Christmas so the service employees were minimum. But the quality and cleanliness for the rooms were definitely below bar. The staff were pretty helpful except for the receptionist. One good thing about the hotel is that the room was spacious. But the internal design was probably done by a 6 years old child (for example no accessible electric socket suitable for laptop...

I recently stayed at Hotel Karpatia for a business trip, and it was a great choice. The hotel is well-maintained, providing a clean and comfortable environment. We visited for a friends wedding so were there for 2 nights. We had an evening meal, and although the menu was limited, what we had was delicious. The breakfast varied and wish there were more pastries as there was none on the second day. The room was very good. Well air-conditioned and spacious. Bathroom was clean and modern.
