Hotel Capital — Hotel in Nitra

Hotel has a great central location, ca 15 minutes from the bus station. The street is quite silent and one feels quite safe. Common rooms (entrance hall, bar, restaurant) look very nice and exclusive. Room was clean and bathroom really large with spacious shower. ||However, there were quite many minuses:||- breakfast - various cheap kinds of cheese & salami, ham; healthier alternative to bread & bread rolls, such as whole-meal bread/buns/baguettes were missing; no lactose-free milk or alternative available; nothing special for sweet breakfast (at least some fresh croissants should be a standard); only one jar of fresh water, otherwise ca 6 jars with flavored drinks (some juice, mineral water and at least lactose-free milk would be more appropriate) - basically the whole breakfast offer was quite disappointing and not appropriate to a 4 star hotel in the city center||- staff - very nice & friendly, but for the whole stay completely ignored the requirement to use the face masks in the interior (and of course, then also majority of guests didn't care at all)||- room - i would expect a hotel of this level to have a net against insects on at least one window, so that I don't have to spend the night catching mosquitos instead of sleeping (true story); another thing is - lift has glass walls from which you could see directly to our room & bed (not exactly what you are hoping for when booking a hotel) - you can of course close the blinds, but the the room gets totaly dark (and actually one blind was stuck so i couldn't get it completely down)||- services - as many hotels also this one offers you complimentary products like shampoo & body lotion, however shampoo was so small that it wasn't almost enough for 1 use and I didn't get a second the next day. Instead of shower gel was provided only soap. We also requested iron, which was bit dirty (someone probably over-ironed some clothing) and my shirt got dirty as well as I didn't notice it. I tried also using the safe in the room, but couldn't get it to work with the provided manual.||All in all, the stay was acceptable, but I won't be coming back to this...

First thing I noticed arriving at the hotel was a nice welcoming decor and kind receptionist. Private parking at the property is very convenient.||My room was clean and bright with a huge bath tub. ||Wellness area was a great retreat after long day at work and breakfast was simply amazing.||||I had a really good experience at this place and the staff together with the owner would go above and beyond to make your stay more pleasant.||||P.S. I noticed on the day I was leaving that they were disinfecting rooms with some kind of professional ozonic machine - thumbs up for that, it made me feel extra safe in this pandemic situation....||||Will be definitely...

This past February I traveled to Nitra for business and stayed in the Hotel CAPITAL.The hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of the city close to restaurants, bars,shopping and offers free parking. My accommodations including the room I stayed in were incredibly big and nice, and my stay included a delicious complimentary breakfast each morning. Above all else, the staff was very hospitable and made my stay a very relaxing one.I would look forward to coming back and would recommend...
