Hotel Enchante — Hotel in Prešov

We used this hotel as our base while, visiting Presov and a neighboring village. We stayed in a suite which was well worth the extra money. The hotel was immaculately clean and updated. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The breakfasts were delicious with a varied selection. Hot breakfast was available and made to order. We had absolutely no complaints. We spent a week end. The purpose of visiting Presov was to see the place where my paternal grandfather learned the butcher trade. We also visited the Village of Zahradne, my grandfather's birthplace. With the help of a guide we also located my relatives who still live in the area. This area is absolutely beautiful and worth visiting. We did not rent a car but there is parking on site at the hotel for a small fee. The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town section of Presov. We felt very comfortable walking around the city. We arrived in Presov by train and walked to the Hotel Enchante. I booked Enchante in a rush filled with trepidation that I had not done my homework in ensuring it was the right kind of hotel for us. I needed not to have worried as it turned out to be one of my best experiences with travel and hotels till date.||||The hotel is well located. Quiet and away from it all but all not too far from key places you might want to visit in Presov. The staff were very warm, polite and helpful which really immediately put my little girl at ease as we were in Presov for a wedding and she was already feeling like she might find the whole trip boring as it was mostly 'adults' and not a lot of kids to play with.||||The room was really really nice and artfully designed. It felt more like a chalet than your regular hotel room. The spa was really lovely and in top shape from a cleanliness and maintenance perspective. I was for a night in Enchante Hotel. Simple Hotel, but you have actually everything you need. Rooms are clean, the location is not far form city center. The breakfast was very decent. I deducted 2 of 5 points: ||First point for the reason the wifi didn't work on my flor. The other signal from the restaurant was too weak.
