NICO CAFFÉ — Restaurant in Prešov

We stopped by for a quick lunch and decided to go with the Udon Sweet and Sour with tofu and a coconut soup. The noodle dish was surprisingly delicate, packed with a great variety of vegetables, and perfectly balanced in that sweet-sour combination—not your typical pre-made sauce straight out of a bottle, which was a nice change.

On the flip side, the coconut soup was a bit of a letdown. It felt watery and didn’t carry that bold, intense flavor you’d expect from an Asian coconut broth. A bit more depth would’ve been great.

The atmosphere? It’s fine—nothing extraordinary but comfortable enough for a lunch break. The highlight, though, was the service. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made up for the soup mishap. We’ll definitely give it another shot and try more of the...

Today I’ve visited Nico cafe and my feelings are not really good to be honest. I had ordered eggs royal and It was far from the best. Hollandaise sauce were average without right color and poached eggs not good at all. The only thing good on the dish was salmon😉. Coffee was alright as always😊. But right next to me was sitting lady with the baby and she’s been waiting for the service and coffee over 15’ and after that she’s decided to leave and Café hasn’t been busy. Bad service, food took so long to arrive for one of us that 2 of us finished our food and the last person waited 1h and 16 minutes for a gyros wrap. When we were getting ready to leave they finally brought it, but no sorry was ever said or anything. Very poor from the employees, since politeness goes a long way.

If the server doesn't speak English, why not send someone else that can, since there were plenty of other staff members behind the counter that could speak it.

Maybe put a door stop as well, so people don't slam the door everytime they...
