What a peculiar little hotel.||The first thing you notice when you enter the hotel is the smell of damp. The hotel isn't damp, it;s more like the smell from a cold basement, or wine cellar.||I travelled solo in May 2019, and paid €42 per night. My bed was tiny, 80 cm wide, but was relatively comfy. The room was decorated mountain style, but the rafters were fake, and hollow, with faux drystone walls.||The room was poorly aired, and I imagine it is pretty stuffy in summer.||Breakfast was a la carte, so no buffet. Read moreStayed here late July to attend a wedding. We were greeted in the early hours by the hotel manager although the hotel was closed for the night. Room was nice with en-suite, view out onto the Main Street but want noisy and good view of the wedding venue. Could have done with air con but survived quite happily. Food was great as with the drinks. Few seats to sit outside and watch the city life pass by with a beer. Has a wine cellar too but sat outside to enjoy the weather.
