We booked it as a stopover for one night en route from Cracow to Budapest. It was easy to find in our GPS and the place had on site restaurant.||We don't speak Slovak and the kind Manager did her best in English. We got a non-smoking room (everyone smoked in the hotel), which was big and had wifi!!||Parking at the hotel which is in the outskirts of Zvolen. ||Dining in the hotel a smoking and a non-smoking restaurant. Menu in Slovak but sign language works wonders so we had a delighful dinner. ||Breakfast in same place. Was also ok (but the morning staff was a bit less understanding). I picked it because of the images and it's close location to the university. ||Booking online from my home country was vastly more expensive than if I had booked directly. ||I had asked for a quiet room; it was up a slightly rickety spiral staircase so not for the faint hearted. ||Due to flight delays, I arrived after 10 pm and it was not possible to get anything to eat or drink and there was nothing close by. ||I found the room way to hot to sleep comfortably. ||However, the location worked really well for me and the room was a great size - space to work, a fridge etc. ||I didn't get the chance to try the restaurant but would have liked to.
