HOSTEL SONCE — Hotel in Ptuj

This is a young family run hostel that offers double and quadruple rooms with air conditioned and very clean. They are taking Corona very seriously with cleaning, hands sanitizers and wearing masks all the time. Iva is taking care that you have anything you need and that you have a good stay. ||They have a nice and quiet patio with chairs and tables and a covered space against sun or rain.||It is 5 min walk to the river and another 5 min walk to the city center. No noises were coming from other rooms and some traffic can be heard with open windows, but with closed windows it is quiet. ||Beds and bedclothes were very comfortable and with a good smell. Soap bars are provided.||Aircon was good, cooling down, in the right position not directly to your web, and not noisy.||There is a drawer and a tv in the room.||The blinders can be drawn to get dark rooms for a good sleep, even in the attic.||Wifi is very good.||There is a big fridge in the first floor for common use as well as a common balcony with chairs for smokers||They have space for your car in front of the hostel with no extra charge.||For breakfast you have milk, tee, coffee, cacao, yogurt, fresh croissants, delicious fresh tomato, cheese and cucumber and tasteful fried eggs on ham. I was staying for a few days with my son, and from the moment of our arrival the owners, Iva and Ales, provided a very friendly and excellent service. Check in time was officially 3pm, but we arrived at around 1pm and this was no problem - we were offered some delicious home made wine spritzer on the terrace and were shown to our room shortly afterwards. Iva and Ales both speak excellent English as well as other languages, and were happy to answer any questions. Ales even offered to lend me his swimming trunks for use in the nearby aquapark, and Iva helped by recommending a taxi service from Koper to Trieste for part of our return journey.||||The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we slept well in our room with a bunk bed. We highly recommend the optional breakfast (local eggs, ham, different cheeses, tomatoes, croissants etc). ||||The location is a short walk across the river to the old town centre, and about 15 minutes walk from the aquapark and tennis club. There is a good range of excellent restaurants nearby to suit all budgets, and also a supermarket, bakery and other shops.||||I would definitely recommend staying here and certainly hope to...

Se dobbiamo dire la prima cosa che ci viene in mente riguardo questa struttura è sicuramente la grande cortesia e la costante presenza del proprietario e dei suoi familiari, sempre pronti a dare consigli (su cosa fare o dove andare a mangiare) o a fare qualche semplice chiacchiera nella corte interna di questo bell'ostello. Ti fanno sentire a tuo agio, quasi come si fosse a casa tanto l'atmosfera è semplice e rilassata.||L'ostello è molto carino, pulito ed è arredato in modo particolare in alcune sue zone sia interne sia esterne. Anche la nostra camera era colorata e vivace; grande e situata al secondo piano proprio sotto al tetto quindi molto luminosa perché ricca di finestre e velux (lucernari). Presenti nella nostra stanza un letto matrimoniale e due singoli; siamo stati anche dotati del lettino per bimbo piccolo. Wi-Fi presente e con buona copertura.||Un paio di lati negativi riguardano: il fatto che l'ostello è a due piani ed è senza ascensore; la nostra camera era situata al secondo e ultimo piano; per raggiungerla quindi bisogna farsi quattro rampe di scale con le valigie. Altra cosa, il bagno della nostra camera era abbastanza grande e carino, ma con pochi e semplici accorgimenti lo potrebbe diventare ancora di più; in particolare mancano l'asciugacapelli e una tenda vetro o qualsiasi tipo di chiusura per la doccia.||Un aspetto, invece, molto bello e che rende questo ostello adatto a famiglie con bambini è la sua corte interna che è chiusa, abbastanza ampia e con una bella area giochi a disposizione dei più piccoli!||Un altro aspetto molto carino riguarda poi la colazione; non sarebbe prevista da prenotazione ma Alex il proprietario la serve ugualmente nella piccola zona soggiorno con tavolo dove è presente anche la reception. E' un bel servizio, una cosa semplice per la verità ma una sorpresa tra l'altro gratuita e i croissant in particolare sono molto buoni e fatti in casa!||La posizione dell'ostello è al di là del fiume Drava, quindi non si trova proprio nel centro della cittadina di Ptuj ma può vantare un parcheggio gratuito proprio davanti alla struttura e a piedi per raggiungere il centro storico basta poi una passeggiata di dieci minuti circa.
